Does Dallas even have a head coach right now? Is it Jerry?

Wade is doing his thing on defense, Garrett is calling the shots on offense.

Who is bringing it all together and keeping these 2 in check? I seriously doubt that Wade Phillips is doing it.

I dont get the feeling Garrett is being held accountable to Wade or that Wade has much if any input in the offense.

So I must ask are the Dallas Cowboys a team without a head coach?

I almost get the sense that Jerry found a way to be the coach without being the coach. Everything starts and stops with him.

Wade is the head Coach in title only because if he was really the head coach he's act like one. For a long while now the OC and QB are left to "fugure it out" on their own, with no success. Yet it still goes down that way. And that's because Jones has his pet-OC on his nice-list. So from that sense, Jerry is more of the head coach, only he's not deoing that job either.

The more I think about the more I believe Dan Reeves was going to be brought in to be the Head Coach, but not in title. He was going to be the guy who was the buffer between Wade and Garrett.

The whole thing is a mess. We dont need leadership on the field we need it in the front office.

Yep, it's Jerry, he's coaching by proxy from his owners box because he doesn't have the balls to go down on the field and do the job publically.

This way, he has plausable deniability when they lose and he can grab the credit if we win.

It seems like it doesn't it?

Do we have a head coach? No. Not in the traditional sense. I think Jerry has created a whole new concept in the NFL.

He hires someone and let's him have the title, yet castrates him in terms of having authority. I think his letting go during the Parcells era was a very rare thing, and he probably thinks he's learned something from it and can go back to his old ways of trying to be the center of attention.

No one likes to hear pessimism and I certainly always have hope that we'll win something important despite Jerry, but I will always maintain that he's the biggest problem this team has.
