Do we fully comprehend what happened yesterday when Green Bay choked us out?

I'm not absolving coaching but this team has a lot of players who have gotten embarrassed in the playoffs before. There should have been plenty of player leadership making sure everyone knew what to expect in playoff football. If the players weren't mentally into it, that's on them. At some point, every person is responsible for their own attitude, motivation & commitment.

We were told we had a Pied Piper at quarterback leading the team

I take a wee bit of pleasure of knowing it's going to be much harder for Quinn to get a head coach gig now and a big paycheck
Same thing happened with Kris Richard. He was a hot commodity here 1 year then same thing happened...same exact thing. Now I cant even tell you where he is. Quinn showed what he is.

The problem is the Cowboys talent is overrated. We got blown out by Arizona with Josh Dobbs at quarterback. Let that sink in. Every season since 2017. We feast on the NFC East and then we play an AFC division like the AFC South we get fat and happy on 8 games. The Cowboys have been a 9-10 when team for the past 3 seasons. We our above average by one or two games.
it equates an overrated DQ, overrated defense, players, an overhyped team as a whole, and the team believing they are entitled something without having to work for it. Its simple really. Starts with the HC and trickles down. The messaging is one of pampering the players and being hands off. Jerry is what he is...no changing that, but show me a great disciplined HC, and I will show u a team that has a chance in the post season.

Everyone was terrible yesterday, but Dan Quinn really needs to answer why he seemingly changed up his whole defensive strategy. It was embarassing how little pressure we got and how wide open everyone was.

There is this very outdated philosophy that Parcells used to talk about, and it was that when there is a young QB, you want to play zone to confuse the young QB and he will make mistakes. That philosophy is dumb, but obviously some believe it.

It seems that Dan Quinn bought into this, for a PLAYOFF GAME, against a QB who is playing as good as anyone in the league. I mean these guys were WIDE open. I have no other explanation as to why he decided to change up everything.

Also, what was up with Bland playing 10 yards off of freaking Tucker Kraft and 3rd and 3? What was that?
I don’t know why DQ did that…..

Its sad how devastated this fan base has become ........ Jerry Jones need to be held accountable for this circus every year.

I wish fans would boo him out of the building every time he shows his withered face ....... but this stupid fan base will still cheer and ask for autographs.

Sickening.

DQ defensive scheme gets figured out over time. The Cowboys are to small up front and to me that is a front office problem. Quinn has done well with the talent around him. Besides Parsons, Tank, and Bland the whole defense is a bunch of JAGs.

Do we fully comprehend what happened yesterday when Green Bay choked us out and boat raced us at home, in one of the, if not THE worst loss in franchise history? Let me bottom-line it for ya. We allowed a team that struggled to get above .500 all year ..struggled against bad teams, but got hot at the right time, got on a roll...AND the youngest team in the league came in here and ran us out of our own stadium laughing as they curb stomped us.NEXT, they could have scored 70. But called off the dogs. Let this sink in guys. Now lets ask ourselves how does this happen when we are at home in the playoffs with so much going for us? My answer is simple, lack of coaching and messaging during the week. The players clearly didnt understand the fight it takes to beat good teams in the post season. Thats coaching 101. It was evident from the first drive that GB would bully us and we looked Godsmack'd all day. They smacked us in the mouth and we folded up shop. Thats coaching and GB believed in what they were doing leading up to the game. Wholesale changes must occur at the staff....player level. We looked afraid, deer in headlights, tepid all day. The D was confused, out of position all day. I think GB just completed another screen pass to AJ just now lol...memo to Will McClay...can we PLEEEEASE bench Clark? He sucks. Dan Quinn...sir, you are a FRAUD and a barrel of anuses. The D played as such. The context I just gave you guys is harsh but its the reality of what happened and what the team is and a microcosm of what we been for 28 years...paper champs and frauds. A running joke sadly. If Major changes aren't made, I can see the fanbase jumping off in mass. Can we have wildcat Jerry back for just 1 day? I am begging. I need your ideas guys. This is my therapy for the day. Much needed.

I understand what happened, and if I am right, the 49ers will put an exclamation point on it for us. I can't say if they took the Packers to lightly, maybe they did. But I know this, the Packers came to play and the Cowboys made mistakes all over the game.

The very first drive, the Cowboys came out fired up. The stuff Jones on first down. I believe they sacked Love on second down, but of course, penalty on Dallas. Bland illegal contact. Instead of 3rd and long, Dallas give them a first down. It was downhill from there. But the gift given was not over. Green Bay had a 3rd and 5 from the Dallas 6 yard line. They had a chance to stop them and potentially force a FG, but Lawrence jumps into the neutral zone and now the Packers get 3 gift yards and score the TD. GB did not make stupid mistakes like that. I think GB made two mistakes the entire game. They missed an extra point, and they threw a pass on 3rd down to stop the clock late in the game when Dallas had no time outs, although the game was really over then. When they help Micah Parsons it was a good hold or Micah may have sacked Love. But even then, the Packers overcame the mistake because Dallas gifted them with yet another wide open receiver for big yards.

The thing that bothers me most about that game was that was not the Dallas Cowboys team we saw all year. They had bad games before, with stupid penalties and mistakes but we have not seen broken coverages like that since Nolan was the DC. I don't know what happened yesterday, but whenever they had GB in a 3rd and long or 2nd and long situation, they had a receiver wide open for a long gain.

I fear that Dan Quinn will not get any of the jobs that have been on the table for him after last night's debacle. The only question is will Jerry have the chops to do what I think needs to be done, fire Quinn and get a new DC.

I cant fathom someone being a professional athlete, and not be mentally prepared or just being blase. This is why you play...this is what you worked your whole life for.

I dont buy we needed a peop rally. Id prefer to believe we just suck.:)

50...they almost scored 50 on us at home in a playoff game. They called the dogs off or it may have been 70. Thats a failure at every single level. We were always 2 steps behind what GB was doing.
It was embarrassing that we kept trying after they were kind enough to slow down. We made them bring back in their starters like a bunch of losers. They were kind enough not to beat us by 80 points and we were pathetic enough not to stop as well.

Years of JJ as the decision maker is and will be the issue. Players and coaches come and go. Without “football” leadership on the sidelines and on field we will not play good in playoffs. Jerry and his son are the de facto leaders casting a shadow on entire staff and players. When do you hear of any other organization coaching from the owners box? Yesterday’s PLAYOFF game is just one more example of JJ’s organization.
