ok reason why i am posting this is giving the fans that were at the game sunday night, and hopefully a dallas news writer will see this and get this to jerry jones to honor a fan, if the cowboys get a win monday night due to the crowd noise, etc, like the fans at the jets did;

Jets give Fireman Ed game ball from win over Pats
By DENNIS WASZAK Jr., AP Sports Writer
5 hours, 4 minutes ago

Buzz up! PrintFLORHAM PARK, N.J. (AP)—Fireman Ed has something new to cheer about.

The Jets’ most famous fan received a game ball from coach Rex Ryan during the team meeting Friday for helping lead a raucous Meadowlands crowd during New York’s 16-9 win over New England last Sunday.

Ed Anzalone, a New York City firefighter, has been coming to every Jets home game for years, wearing a fire helmet and leading the “J-E-T-S! Jets! Jets! Jets!” cheer.

Ryan sent a voicemail message to season ticket holders last week, urging the fans to make things “miserable” for Tom Brady(notes) and the Patriots. The fans answered that call, and after the victory, Ryan said they were the difference in the team beating New England at the Meadowlands for the first time since 2000.

Yeah, we had one like that. Crazy Ray. Unfortunately he is no more. Jerry did plenty for him, from what I understand.

But really, Jets situation and Cowboys situation is different. Jets have pretty much Sucked forever. All they have is Joe Namath and the gurantee. If they weren't in New York, nobody would even care.

Anyway, seems for first time, they have something and just like when BP was there, they have hope. For Cowboys fans, it seems like nothing but SB is excepted.

Another reason the NY fan got that ball is because he's NY Fireman. He deserves more than a football, but, it's just a publicity stunt.

But, my man Joe, wants some random fan to get the same treatment?

not a random fan, a really down to earth die hard dallas cowboys fan, that goes to all the games, hollers his or her guts out, etc and that can represent all of us cowboys fans with class and dignity as a true cowboys fan

and im not talking about me, i might go to one game a season, low income here, so i havent been to all the games, but when i do go i holler my lungs out

but a fan that has been there through thick and thin, and we all would be proud of that fan representing us cowboys fans and the dallas cowboys

i would say let jerry jones and the cowboys pick one
not us fans; or let the cowboys ask the players, which fan are you aware of that hollers the loudest, etc and would represent the cowboys fans

again just an idea

in other words, i forgot what player said it, but he said after the media talked to him, think it was ware, the fans in our stadium were very loud, we appreciated that and they were like the 12th man

jed would not have anyone else stealing face time. What with the new stadium and all. Plus he's got those pesky athlete's and coach's trying to form a football team. That's WAY over the radar.

Besides, who needs another step-child.............he's got an inept GM to deal with.

The lack of love for Crazy Ray and the outpouring for Mrs. Price makes it clear that the knowledge of history here on CZ is lacking :(

well i know hostile, DC and some others on here are die hard cowboys fans, etc, but again, was just an idea that may rub off on the players, kinda like a 12th man.
