It seems to me that we have 2 coaches.Garrett and Wade.I like that. When wade coached before he never had an O coordinator as intelligent as garrett.

I have heard from some on here that Wade has given most if not all control to Garrett when it comes to offense. That is a good thing. That is why we are 2-0. I have high hopes for Wade getting this defense going.... at the very least get them to be ball hogs and aggressive. I would settle for that... oh yeah... and some good tackling

Wade has said that he lets the OC call the plays, he does tell them at times that he wants to get this guy involved a bit more but the plays he leaves up to the OC. Wade also is the one who decides to go for it on 4th down. On 4th and 4 Wade can either risk the long range FG, punt or go for it and we all saw what happened. TD to Owens. Gutsy move by Wade and great call by Jason.

and Garrett says.. ok, who do I want to play with now :D

because he has ALOT of confidence in Garrett ALREADY

creative vs predictable on 4th and 4 is worth the risk

agreed.

Nice to have an OC that "has a play" for 4th and short too.

One Coslett play I would like to see again, is that play he had where the whole team would start the play to the right side. The QB would take a step to the right and fake a handoff to the RB who was going right, behind the O-line.

The TE on the left would block and pretend to fall down. Then as everyone went right he would trot out to the left and the QB would hit him for an easy TD. It worked every time except once when the QB threw the ball too short. Even then, the TE caught it and, IIRC, made the 1st down.

That was the only thing I liked about him.

I agree. I also agree with Moose that Romo had a check down on that play if TO was not open however you expect the defense to play a lot of heavy covage with in the range of the 1st down marker leaving 1 on 1 on the outside to TO and that is exactly what Romo got and took the deep shot. Great play and great execution

Yea T.O did a real nice job of slowing up just enough to make the defender pause, and then blowing by him for the TD. Great stuff

I heard BB once explain it on a radio interview. Sometimes the best things a Defensive minded coach can do to an offensive gameplan, 1) Break down how he would personally attack his offense. And also what he thinks the opponents defenses might try. 2) What are the weaknesses he see's and area's that his offense should go after. He didn't mention 3) stealing signs and jamming radios!

RedBall is probably picking Wade Phillips mind in a like mannor.
