The NFC West games are going to be fun to watch down the stretch. Those offenses are so terrible, and with how well those defenses are playing, anything could happen really.
Seattle probably has the best offense of the group but as seen yesterday, they were gifted some significant points on questionable calls. Outside of those instances where bad calls gave them new life, they didn't do much of anything at all and I like the Cards defense over the Niners right now. The Cards get away with a lot of contact at home, and I could see them holding the Seattle offense to 13 or less, and doing just enough to carry out a W. The Cards winning that game is probably best case scenario for us.
I don't think the Rams will beat Seattle in Seattle but after the Niners, Cards, and Rams they're going to be a little beat up. I haven't looked at the scenarios this week but I wouldn't mind having them at home in Dallas if they lose the division to the Cards. If the Cards beat Seattle I think they clinch the division, in which I think it's possible we could play the Cards in AZ 2nd round or Seattle at home in the first round. Maybe both? I haven't looked but that'd be a nice setup.
I don't want to play GB, period, at home or at Lambeau. Rodgers is a man and I do not want to see him against our defense. I think that's probably our worst matchup because he has the ability to just seek and destroy your weakest targets on defense.
I hope TY isn't playing this week. The Colts are #1 in passing yards? I didn't know that. I think their run defense #'s are probably skewed from that stat, as teams are probably passing more to keep up, so if we can slow the game down a bit we definitely have a better than good chance to win the game. I wonder what the line is for that matchup
