DO we have the most spoiled and/or uneducated fan base in all of sports?

That's right, attack your fellow fans instead of the people screwing up on the field and in the front office. As pathetic as it is predictable.

Anyone else notice a pattern here?

They have no shame. Apparently, we're supposed to live off those 90's championships forever and ever.

Sure, keep thinking that.

I'm sure you'll also keep thinking that it was just the Cowboy's problems, not being outplayed by the Rams, that lost us the game.

I'm sure you think we'll come out next week and end up winning the game and win eight straight games after that and take the division.

People like you never think it's the Cowboys fault, or that we're a severely under-talented/performing team.

WE WOULD HAVE HAVE WON WITH A 100% HEALTHY TEAM TODAY. Romo wouldn't have made 1 bit of difference. Maybe Pacman would have, since it was our defense that lost the game.

And of course, in all of your "education" I'm sure you're aware that coming into this game the Rams were 32nd in the NFL in offense (dead last) and 32nd in the NFL in defense (dead last). They had scored 4 offensive touchdowns all year, and never more than 2 in a game (they scored 3 in the first quarter against us).

Also, how can a fanbase be spoiled when they haven't seen a playoff victory in 12 years?

Sorry, but I look at "trends". The facts that they've score more and more poitns on offense every game and held other teams to less and less points every game. The fact that they beat a good Commanders team and the fact that they got a new coach and got rid of the one they hated (from all accounts) to play for.

This was a trap game for the fans if we lost, I knew that. But I wouldn't have thought the TEAM would fall for this game.

They didn't prepare and the BETTER TEAM WON today. Romo or no Romo, we would have LOST TODAY.

By the way, I just looked it up and the Rams were not dead last in either defense or offense. Either way, since they just beat another good team last week and had a new coaching staff, we should have taken them seriously.

The Rams were extremely talented on offense. I'm more surprised about how horribely we played on offense because their defense (minus their DL, like I said BEFORE the game) is horrible. We got dominated on both sides of the ball.

This was not a trap game, or due to injuries, no due to not playing at home. We just got beat by the better team.

I'm spoiled. I remember going to the playoffs every year. I thought about when and where we would go and not will we. Home field advantage was my worry. Those days are gone likely forever.

Are some of our fans off base on what's really going on. I'd say yes but I could be wrong. Not 98% though. Closer to 95% I'd say. JK

Would we have won this game if we were at full strength. Most likely but turnovers can change a game dramatically. And once a game gets to far out of kilder then you must change your game plan and abandon the run. Well with Johnson being out of sync with our WRs in a game's level of play, we only had the run. That killed us as we just couldn't score enough. And they could turn the dogs loose.

Too many injuries to have turnovers. Then you get too far behind and that's it. A massacre. Do you think GB is that much better than Indy? Do you think that the Rams are that poor of a team? They got their QB and WRs back and have started to play better.

I so wanted to win for all the right reasons. I so wanted to win so all the nay sayers and doom/gloomers would be a little quieter. Oh well I'm used to being disappointed and I'll live thru it.

LOL. We don't understand football but you say we didn't win because our #1 QB didn't play.

It wasn't the Offense that gave up all those points.

Biggest bandwagoners, no doubt. For the most part the diehard Cowboy fans out there are very knowledgable. Lots of knowledgable fans on this site, but I think that those fans that post on message boards are usually more in the know than the ones that just park themselves in front of the TV on Sunday...or only watch when the Cowboys are good :)

All of a sudden losing to STL isn't that funny, isn't it? ;)

Judging from your post, I'd say the most ignorant.

Yes, the cowboys have a bunch of bandwagon fans. What with all the success they've had the past 10 years... what's that? Oh they haven't won a playoff game in like 12 years?

Yeah, saying the cowboys have a lot of bandwagon fans AT THIS POINT is pretty freakin' dumb.

In your thorough trend analysis, did you notice they were 3-14 in their last 17 games? Or their ridiculously laughable point differential (worst in the NFL)?

No, they were dead last in offense and defensive scoring (a much better indicator than total yards). And the Commanders absolutely dominated them in every category, but made some critical turnovers.

If you think the Cowboys had no business beating a team that's not a symptom of your "education", it's a symptom of your laughably pathetic expectations for this team. I guess in your view if we beat the Chiefs of Lions it will be one of the greatest upsets in NFL history.

even w/ Romo in the game, I don't see the Cowboys scoring much more than 14

they were faltering last week

idk, this whole team needs a major face-lift, or a different shift in philosophy, it's obvious Garrett's O is not working, and it's leading to Romo getting hit and hurt, on D we need to stop having the players play scared, that type of D is only good when your O is clicking, and our O hasn't clicked in 4 weeks now

quit w/ the vertical passing offense, run alot of shorter routes

and quit w/ the silly zone

We scored 24 points last week. It only seems like "faltering" when you're accustomed to scoring 30+ every week and the defense and special teams are so pathetic that 24 points isn't enough to win a game.

but we struggled badly in the 4th, it took a Herculean effort by Barber to get that 7 to make it 21

I think we go 3-and out again on that drive if Barber doesn't make a great play

Yeah, saying the cowboys have a lot of bandwagon fans AT THIS POINT is pretty freakin' dumb.

So I'm in a bar watching the Skins/Cowboys game and the waiters, waitresses and bartenders are all wearing various jerseys, the girl thats waiting our table is wearing a Romo jersey.

After the games over, I ask her if she's ready to switch allegiances and says "Oh no, I've been a Cowboys fan forever!" and I said "So you're not a bandwagoner?" And she replies, "Nope! I've loved them ever since they've had John Elway."

Please, the Cowboys are like the Sox/Yankees of the NFL in terms of bandwagoners, regardless of playoff wins in the past decade.
