Do we keep 4 RBs?

I think McF starts, with morris and zeke getting some carries in early games.
Then as season goes forward zeke will play more and depending on how he does,
could take over as starter.
he has to learn the offense etc and get some experience.

preseason, morris should get a lot of work, so they can see what they have with him.

Dunbar they can do other things with, so maybe they keep him too.
If they will run a lot, then 4 backs is ok.

I would like to keep DMC and Morris to go with the rookie. At some point likely some of the rbs will miss time. I wanna just pound the rock and pound some more and just wear defenses down with this o line and three rb's. Dunbar can go.

I would say trade Mcfadden since he is a proven thousand yard rusher but there are tons of RB's available in the draft.

Morris' 1.8m is fully guaranteed

DMC's 2m isn't

If would cost us an additional 500k to cut Morris
We would save 2m if they cut McFadden

I'm thinking Morris is the odd man out since he can't catch, but maybe they use all 4. Dunbar is more of a slot receiver and ST guy than a true RB.

With that torn patellar tendon, Dunbar may not even make it back.

I have wondered this for a while ever since signing Morris but especially after getting an elite 3 down back like Zeke does it make sense for us to keep all 4 RBs? I can't see Dunbar going anywhere, he is cheap, he is a good change of pace guy and great on special teams. So are Morris and McFadden completing for that last roster spot or will we keep all 4?

Dunbar is still not 100%, and has never played a full season.

We're swapping Turbin for Ezekiel Elliot, probably Morris for Dunbar, and we're getting Tony back. We're going to be running and passing like we did in 2014, and I'm excited that the Cowboys are going to be winning some games again.

Dunbar is the odd man out, if he can play at all.
Zeke and DMC are the everydown backs
What we would have used Dunbar for can either be done by a late draft choice(Drake) or and UDFA. It also wouldn't surprise me to see them use Whitehead in that roll as well.
Morris is the perfect back to use in the 4th quarter when we have a big lead and need to run out the clock.
