Do we let Dez return some punts this weekend?

Or do we go with Harris because he is due to hit one finally...
The last time Dez returned punts, in 2012, he was terrible. He hasn't done it (and I doubt he's practiced it much) in two years. Sounds like a recipe for disaster to me.

Golden Tate returned punts against us last game. What happened to him on his first attempt again? Imagine that. Now imagine a bigger target painted on Dez's back.

I like the idea on the surface -- but not with him not having returned a punt in a game situation in several years. Far too risky IMO.

I would be fine with it in limited spots, like punting from their end-zone. Especially if the Packers aggressively take him out of the passing game. I feel Dez needs to be part of the game to keep him fired up and his head on right.

Anyone who can do something with the ball in their hands. Harris hasn't been the same since the Seattle fumble. 100% ineffective, actually.

Have Harris back there with Dez on the field and run the reverse. :)

you are on to something here.

Garrett already started putting his signature on Cowboys attack. Onside kick out of the blue, go for it on 4th down multiple times.

Throw Dez out there just like you said.

Let them know... they cannot eXpect anything!!

The return game is violent and Dez is a violent player, not a good mix for our franchise WR

Am I the only one that wants Twil returning kicks/punt?

He's never returned punts so you don't want him doing it in the biggest game of the year. He returned a couple of kickoffs early in his college career and if I'm not mistaken they put him in last year to return kicks and he fumbled.

I say stick to doing what you have been doing. Sometimes trying to do to much is'nt the best idea.
I learned that one the hard way and still have nightmares about it. 2006 championship game we were down 12-6 4th and 1 on the 11 yard line to score. 38 seconds left.

Instead of handing the ball off i let the running back take a direct snap to gain advantage.....he fumbled the snap...:( still get to hear how bad that decision was to this day.

We came back and won the damn thing back to back in 2007 and 2008 but that day is still ugly in the hearts of many...lol

Dez has returned punts for the Boys, not this year though.
