I never understood why the Pats even signed him. They got Harrison him and lynch are practically the same player. Merriweather is a beast from the U.

Maybe they want another veteran with leadership skills in case Harrison gets hurt at some point?

New England is a rather quiet lot, they won't tell us.

There's no telling if they plan on bringing him back after week one or not.
