I loved the Zeke pick...but with Jackson also, along with Morris and Rod Smith, and Dunbar halfway through the season, could we get somethin decent in return for McFadden? would anybody even want him?...I know we need bodies for TC, but it just seems if Zeke is gonna be the 3 down feature back, why bother keepin Darren around?

Not a chance. McFadden is still valuable to this team.

Agree.

He's a very good blocker when it comes to picking up the blitz, he's a decent receiver and he's a more than adequate runner.

If anything Elliott could extend his career a couple more years.

I think Morris would be the odd man out since he does less than the other RBs on the roster including MCfadden.

he has one more year left on his contract. we have 5 RBs on the roster. he is 30 years old. who do you think will trade for him?

And get what a conditional 7th rounder? He has little to no value

I can't see McFadden being traded on the heels of a 1000-yard year. What happens with respect to the other RBs on the roster remains to be seen. I surely don't see Dunbar as an absolute lock.

That could be.

But I think a tandem of McFadden/Morris is more likely to succeed than would a tandem of McFadden/Dunbar.

McFadden is a fine receiver. And Morris can get you the tough yards. McFadden can adequately do what Dunbar does, but Dunbar can't do what Morris does.

We get a sixth for McFadden if we're lucky.

Keep the veterans. You need guys like that on your team. I like Jackson as a prospect, but I can't see him making this team. Too raw as a runner.

Agreed.

Odds are Jackson ends up on the PS.

Can we get a backup qb for him? Then yes.
