Do you agree with Jerry on the run game?

It wasn't the MAIN reason they struggled.

There were many many reasons they struggled.... but if they'd fixed the 4 or 5 more important problems, the RB problem wouldn't have been AS obvious.

This is a bit like saying "did the broken leg help kill that guy? The guy who was 600 lbs, smoked, had cancer, whose blood pressure was 250/120, and who was decapitated in a car wreck".

Yeah...the broken leg didn't help....buuutttttt

I say a combo of both. But a good RB can make a bad oline look good. But a good oline can make any RB look good. So maybe in that sense Jerry is right lol

No the reason we struggled was because of the general manager and the coaching staff.

If our general manager would have gotten us Derek Henry our running game would have been much better than trying to resurrect the career of spent Zeke Elliott.
And if our coaching staff had recognized that Zack Martin was done and put the best five offensive lineman we had out there instead of playing games we would have had a better running game.

What was the matter with the running game and the offensive line is the same thing that's the matter with the whole team the front office and coaching staff suck because everyone is handcuffed by Jerry to doing things his way right wrong or otherwise.
We had to totally exhaust every possibility that Zeke or Zack Martin were viable players before we decided to play the best players available on the team.

You can't win with a front office that can't recognize who the best players are on your roster and when it's time to play them

Zeke star
It had a part with it, play calling, stubbornly leaving Zeke as starter, taking more practice reps from other backs, not giving Vaughn a chance to show if he had anything, but I agree that the OL was the biggest issue.
Zeke started 2 games. 74 rushes.

Gotta blame the Rico.

A scrub.

..oh man, 24' was train wreck. You name it, it happened.

You can blame every position.
I was looking at their depth chart this week and the Cowboys literally need every position, absolutely no draft pick in this class or position would shock me, they need it all! lol

Of course Jerry is going to say that…he decided not to sign Henry because in his opinion Zeke was still capable of being a franchise back…and we all saw how that played out.
But the o-line didn’t do anybody any favors.
I think Dallas needs to upgrade both lines in the draft.

The offensive scheme was the biggest problem trying to run out of shotgun too much !

Well...not sure there us a wrong answer here.... though I'd personally gi with Jerry The GM creating a Loser Culture.... AND having a C÷ (and declining) starting QB.

But there's just so many things to chose from

I definitely agree in part and I hope that means we target OL over RB at 12 if we do target one of the two, because I think there will be better value at OL at 12 when we are on the clock than at RB
That would be the logical move. But…..we have JJ running the show. Soooo
