I believe in this defense and in our running game and OL. I think we try to do too much with Dak and that we’re a better team when he’s just driving the bus and not having to throw to keep us in the game. That’s one of the main reasons I didn’t want OBJ, because then we’d be inclined to throw even more.

I did not vote, as it’s not my team. But I will say this. As strange as it may seem, I might be a little bit more impressed with Dallas right now that I was yesterday. I’m still trying to process it.

This was the sort of game that Dallas would’ve lost in the past. I’m not necessarily saying the Texans…I’m saying that everyone that has paid attention to the Cowboys the last quarter century was expecting Dallas to lay an egg at some point. When I saw the halftime score, I thought today was going to be the day. They found a way to win… That is all that matters.

This is what I was trying to explain to some uneducated football fans about the Eagles win over the Colts. It’s a hell of a lot better to come away from a game where know you have a lot to learn from and it still be a win, than a loss. Winning ugly is OK in this league. No team brings their A game every day.
