Do You believe this team can win the super bowl?

Yes...actually I believe this team can win it every year. Everyone has to remember this team usually loses games late in games. We could have easily been 13-3 last year instead of 8-8. We were about 5 plays from being 13-3. I believe the defense if much improved, and the offensive line can't be as bad as it was last year. Also, before Murray went out, the team was on a winning streak. It ended with his injury. I believe we will get better WR play from Dez, better fullback production, better #2 TE in the passing game, better LT play (back in 09 Free play RT really well in place of Colombo & I still wonder to this day why we didn't start Free in that playoff loss to the viqueens), better ILB play, a healthy rotation of effective Dlinemen, and much better secondary play. If we can get above average play from the interior oline, we will win the Super Bowl!!!!!!!!!

Care to explain why?

Scary thing is that 5 game stretch where we play four on the road. Hell we have one home game from the end of September to mid November, that is tough.

Yes, but December...our toughest month ALWAYS...we have 5 out of 7 games AT HOME. We always seem to do well in November, so if we can come out of that 5 game stretch unscathed..we'll be alright.

Cowboys dont play good in primetime games so if the superbowl wasnt televised they could win it. Lol

that is true, I also am not that afraid of Carolina or Atlanta on the road during that stretch.

No.

I have been burnt too many times the last decade thinking the team has turned it around.

Now they have to prove it to me...they have to earn my trust so to speak.

What he said!!!

As much as I would like to say yes, it's no for me.

I won't go into who I think the problem player is, no need to start WWIII on the board!

This team has just as good a shot as any other in the league. There are some very good players across every position group. In this parity driven league that and a bounce or two along the way can get you a ring.

Simple yes or no question do you believe this team has what it takes to win a Super Bowl?

I do. :D

Yes I do.

Lots of factors to play out of course but I do think this team has the ability and a shot to do great things.

It surprises me that Risen Star Moriarty hasnt posted his big fat "NO" here yet. Him and his negative waves must be on hiatus.

When you can't win at the line of scrimmage you aren't even close to a title.

Steelers did a few years back, with the worst O-line to start the season, they got a little better as the season went on, but still sucked.

The Defense is what helped them out. I believe we can have that happen here.

I believe it all starts with the O-line this season, but I have faith we can overcome it, and improve.

The problem with you analogy is we don't have a neanderthal rapist as QB. Romo can't ride around on a motorcycle breaking out car windows with his head and still expect to compete week in and week out.

The real problem there is the Steelers' front seven was infinitely better than ours. The Giants won it last year the same way. We've long since established you don't have to be great on both sides of the ball anymore, but one side has to be able to carry you.

If a 9-7 Giants team that got blown out 49-24 by the Saints can win the Super Bowl, why can't the Cowboys?
