I remember it. But film adaptations are never as good as the books.

If 5% of the UFO sightings are real its crazy that they do all this stuff knowing we see them and dont really care

It's a damn shame that the only people who see UFOs all have really ****ty cameras.

FYI

The only entry about Earth in the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy used to be "Harmless", but Ford Prefect managed to change it a little to "Mostly Harmless".
:)

It was edited after the birth of David Beuhler...

There should be a sign somewhere past the orbit of Pluto that reads.. "No picking up hitchhikers next 1.2 light years. :)

is it me or did it look like it was pooping birds?
:laugh2: I don't know. I saw it on another forum and was hoping someone could tell me what it is.

There are an estimated 700 billion stars in this Galaxy alone. we have been able to so far find that many of those stars have planets- as a matter of fact so far just about all suns found have shown to have planets. Many of those stars and systems are millions if not billions of years older. So A) thinking that we are unique is the absolute height of arrogance B) being much older there is more then likely the probability that they are much more advanced then we are. They might have even evolved past the point of needing physical bodies.

Only the arrogant and stupid say that faster then light travel is not possible. That is like cavemen saying that flying is impossible.

so its almost certain that advanced life forms exist. It is virtually certain that life forms with advanced technology exist. Now its also unlikely they have bothered to visit here since why should they- we are out in the boondocks of the galaxy.

****, we're the ghetto?!!! The Curries Woods, Jersey City, NJ of the galaxy? My world view is henceforth, crushed.

And yet, no one knows for sure, it's all speculation with no proof.

Just healthy imagination.
