Do you feel we came out on top at the end? With Carr

Looking back, are you happy we didn't pay NA? A guy who only wants the right side....and got abused pretty nicely.

Sure the grass looks greener now, with Carr. A Known Cowboy fan...young and upcoming, willing to do what it takes, flashing shades of a young Chris McCalister

I like NA, but i am happy greed got the best of him.

If you could go back in time, would you still get NA? or Wait and get Carr?

I'd do neither.

I already knew your answer....

Bro you just want us to ignore the secondary? or have a bunch of Alan Balls and Frank Walkers?

now the question is do you believe in our coaches, can they not do anything with a player? hwo do you know Carr came from the top flight coaches who got all they could out of them? Sure worked for LR when he came to Dallas, didnt our WR get a lot more out of him? I dont know much about the new DB coach, but im liking him so far.

Pretty much.

But I think we did better than Nnamdi. Carr will only be 31 if he plays out the entirety of his contract.

Nnamdi Asomugha will be 31 this year.

Based on age and what I saw of NA last year, I am very happy with Carr.

Lol @ Nnamdi getting toasted last year.

Couldn't be further from the truth

Cue the 1 or 2 plays that you can name over a 16 game season in 3 2 1.....

Fail

I was never for the signing of Nnamdi. We still would have missed the playoffs and he is 31 now. Carr is younger, though I know we overpaid and honestly, without a pass rush, it would not matter if Deion Sanders was back there. I think Carr will have his good and bad moments this year and will not be a pro bowl type, at least not in 2012.

Will depend how Carr plays. He should be good, but I thought NA would be too.

Yep. We probably came out ahead, but we need to see Carr play before we crown him.

While he is younger and Cheaper then NA so that is a plus I think long term we are better off with Carr over NA IMO.

At least our secondary has been upgraded

Notice he never answers these questions.

Carr and Namandi are the real winners here.

Dallas is a winner over the Eagles who are now trying to trade Samuel, while the Cowboys have cut themselves free for the coming Draft.

Agreed

This is a prime example of one of my free agent rules. Never sign a big money free agent from another team if this will be his last contract. Those guys seem to never live up to the deal. If you are goining to spend $10 million a year on a free agent from another team, make sure he is young enough to still be playing for his next deal. This rule means Carr is the much better option for me.

We need to wait until next offseason to determine if this was better. I think that it probably will turn out better this way, but we need to wait until next offseason before that can be determined.
