do you guys want ricky "the shaman" williams for the league minimum???

I'd definitely bring him in for a workout. If he still has any skills left, I'd sign him for the league minimum. Honestly, I really don't understand ALL the venom towards this guy from this board. He NEVER played for the Cowboys and did not affect this organization in any way prior. To bring him in for a look costs us nothing. IF signed, it would be for the minimum (no cap impact) and would be cut in a NY-minute for any transgression.

Leonard Little is STILL in this league after killing a woman driving drunk then a couple years later, was cited once again for, you guessed it, driving drunk. Williams has hurt no one but himself. IF he truly has turned himself around, why shouldn't he get another chance? It costs us basically nothing.....

You are totally missing the point. The cap space or league min is not the issue, the problem is you have a 53 man roster. So you go out and sign Ricky the pothead and you have to cut somebody.

Who you going to cut to make room for pothead? Nobody on the roster right now that I would take Ricky over....sorry dude.

Ok, for those who want R. Williams, who do you propose to cut to make a room for him?

dexter coakley

No way! He doesnt appreciate that its a GIFT that has him playing in the NFL, and if he does not appreciate it so why would we want him? So he can come back and mess up again...no thanks.

Umm...you can't trust Williams. We would have have a week or two and he would spark up, get caught and be booted out of the league again.

Yeah but on madden we could just get Turner the Burner from San Diego_Or Maybe we could trade Carpenter and JJ to the Pats for Maroney and have Barber and Maroney back together again.Yeah let's do that............I hate Madden Nfl and EA sports they have absolutely ruined any logical thinking the average sports fan ever had about reality in the Nfl.

See there, creative thinking. Thinking out of the box. I like that. There ya go.

Get her done Jerrah!

:laugh2:

I thought we wanted Roy in the box.

I don't really see that. Barber is averaging 6.4 YPC. That, to me, does not say that our OL is not opening holes. That, to me, says that Barber is just more productive, plain and smiple. To be honest, it's not even a matter of how many yards Jones is getting. I understand it's a two system backfield but you can't look past his average yards per carry. He's got 5 catches in 4 full games. I understand what you are saying. Your saying, don't rock the boat when it's sailing along on calm water. I'm saying, those waters will not be calm forever and sooner or later, we're going to need a guy who can carry the water a bit better then JJ is showing. JMO
We do according to you and his name is BARBER. JEEZ
