We’ve already found out. Even if the Cowboys win they did it against a backup QB. The Super Bowl is going through Philly.

We don’t have any DOGS in the middle off our D line. Gallimore, Bohanna, etc. disappear for long stretches!

Soft defenses get dominated in the playoffs. This D better start get physical at the LOS, or we will have a very short and embarrassing playoff run.

Philly has been a top QB pressure and sacking team all year. They are giving up 4.7 YPC on the ground, Cowboys 4.6.

Even with Dak we’re not the team we were then. Our offense has been better, but Dak has been throwing too many INT’s and our defense has fallen apart. Our defense isn’t close to where it was earlier in the season, especially our pass rush which has virtually disappeared.

We definitely need to win to try and regain our swag and get some momentum entering the playoffs. We’re leaking oil right now. It’s going to be very demoralizing to the team and the fan base if we drop our second straight game especially to a backup QB. We may start hearing some boo birds at AT&T Stadium if things don’t go well on Christmas Eve.

Not really.

I am complaining about our soft D that cannot control the LOS.

Some fans around here act like Suh and Joseph are chopped liver because they are older veterans. Suh and Joseph are physically and especially mentally tough!
We have a few soft DT’s.

The good news for the Cowboys run D is Hurts is out, though they still have a really good OL and RB. The Cowboys will be able to run on Philly, they just need the D to not give up quick points with big plays so the offense can be patient.

But seriously though, I think if you were to do a search for the most common word usages on this forum the last month or two, "Suh and Joseph" would be second only to "Dak".

Philly’s D is healthy. This will be a good test for our offense.
Also, our defense has a ton of injuries so they also have a challenge even without Hurts.

If we win vs Philly it will give us a ton of confidence going forward.

Suh is pretty washed up he’s only been in on 4 tackles all season. Hankins had been an excellent addition for us and had helped our defense until he got hurt. Injuries have decimated our defense. It’s not what it was earlier in the season. What’s happening with the Cowboys happens every December, they peak the first half of the season and fade.

Sad but true.
