Seeing Mahomes and Parsons both go down with ACL tears, assuming the Eagles win Saturday do you sit Dak and Lamb? Would be a chance for Milton to get reps and could see how much Pickens is really worth paying?

I don’t think they’ll do this, but should they? Both guys have missed time over the last three years and it would be nice knowing they’ll be healthy for next year.

No, I wouldn’t. There wouldn’t be much of a league if everyone who was eliminated from the playoffs just sat their starters. There is still a ton of improvement to be made, on offense and obviously defense so might as well continue to work on it with your star players included. The players and coaching staff need to play out the string, and sure, it would be good to get some rookies and lesser used players with potential some more playing time. It’s the front office that needs to be focused on next season. Hopefully they are already working on finding a new defensive coordinator and the upcoming draft… but I wouldn’t hold my breath.

Maybe the last week I would do something like that, but players have contract incentives they want to hit and the league wants its star players on the field.

You know they won't. and diggs is the only one that gets parked. somebody in the upper level sneezing would injure Diggs as he is owed money if he is injured, but cutting him healthy would be just dead cap money we have to absorb.....

Yeah seems like this is the plan with Diggs given Jerry’s statements with him not being healthy enough to play. Seems like Jerry is still pissed Diggs decided to rehab himself rather than at the facility.

Why would you take Dak's stat padding opportunities away from him?

Players play. Except for Diggs.

You mean go full Notre Dame and take your ball and go home cuz you’re not tourney bound. Nope.

Incentives for one and for two are you basically telling the other guys to go get dirty cuz you’re not just don’t count as much as our pretty boys?

right..not yet..

When you're 100 percent mathematically eliminated, might be the last gam,e maybe two games, but they're playing Until it's truly ready to give up like but no not not for the rest of the year that's really not how football players work...

NO I get your point but then you pretty much have to sit everyone anyone and everyone that matters not just those two I mean overshown for one he's just now getting back at it but wouldn't he be the one you'd sit to try to protect 'cause he has not had a full training camp and nice offseason of getting prepared for Game 1..

I'd say they'll think about that either the very last game or the very last two games but I believe they'll go full go next week and when they say they're mathematically eliminated they'll start pulling players and maybe these players only play the 1st half the next 2 or three games but they still want to finish building their stats I know it don't mean much to you some of them have bonus money coming some of them want to make sure they meet their Goals like some might be 1000 yards 1200 yards some might be ten touchdowns and these guys play of course for the playoffs in the Super Bowl but they also have personal things they like to accomplish...

I'd leave it up to them if they want to go to the coach and play maybe 1/4 or half and then get out whatever but note overall to the blanket statement that they need to start pulling people now..

can't play worried about getting injured....

And I get what you're saying but there's far more players that could use that time off but it won't be this next game but it might be a lot of it in the next the last two games.

Why does that matter You're you think you're still right you you're on the side of the player no there are rules see it's in the contract He didn't meet those obligations that everyone on the team is expected to do he's not special so he got fined they're not holding that against him at all the problem is he lied he said he was ready to go early in the year he was not Then he gets injured on the other leg apparently then this alleged ghost injury came from his house I think with Jerry's tired of is getting the same nonsense he got from Parsons during this whole circus before he was traded and now Diggs try to do the same thing he got under Jerry's skin not because he didn't workout here jerry punished him for that already took the money..

But Diggs was also put on the sideline earlier in the year because he's not doing things right in meetings and practice this is not some kind of temper tantrum revenge from Jerry Diggs did this and the person who controls his fate would be Brian Schottenheimer and Matt Eberfluous and I guarantee if they wanted him bad enough they could have him they've made this decision as a team to not bring him back at this point..

I don't care what you think whatever other fans think about how he could work out where he wants no he has contractual obligations and he did not meet those They didn't say he couldn't work out on his own he could rehab wherever he wants as long as he shows up to the star and works out with his team and with his own trainers as per the contract states like the other players on this team he's not special he doesn't get to do what he wants without repercussions but that's not why he's not back..

He literally was not falling in line with this new defensive coordinator the scheme he didn't like being called out because he wouldn't tackle there's been a lot of problems it's called insubordination He obviously doesn't like Matt Eberflus or the scheme and I don't blame him that don't mean you don't do what you're asked because you got 19 millions to do so you're paid like everyone else to do exactly what you're asked to do You don't get to go rogue and I guarantee in practice and if you go watch some of the game tape the meetings he may be late to or doesn't do his homework for the game plans there are bigger things than you know.

So no this isn't a punishment His punishment was losing $500,000 this is from all the other things guaranteed fake **** injury from home because he didn't want to play this scheme and again I don't blame him but when you get paid $19 million you get your **** up with the rest of your team and you do with your asked...

Sit them for what?

They both had a hand in this putrid season their reward is finishing it out
lol hang in there Jay. Might be better days ahead. Stephen said on radio today they are gonna just continue to chop wood and get this thing right.

I don’t disagree. I was just noticing Jerry’s annoyance. He is pretty loyal to players who deserve it so he must be a pain

Yes. Time to talent evaluate and think about draft position.

I would, everyone else can play maybe Quinnen as well, winning does us no good, I'm sure at least until they are mathematically eliminated it won't happen. We have big holes still on both sides of the ball, Guyton was a passible tackle does have upside at least, but need to move on from Steele complete liability in the passing game.
