Do you prefer the emotional close game or the blow out?

I am a young guy, and still love games like this. They just make me love the team.

But I suspect that someday my heart won't be able to take it anymore and I will want a nice smooth blowout win where I don't have to freak out so much.

Man I feel good today though.

I prefer a blowout, but this is the NFL they are few and far between. Close games builds character. I'll take them anyway i can get him.

Close wins feel better at the conclusion, but blowouts mean your team is in a better situation. Here's a good analogy of the two...

Would you rather win $5 million in the lottery and have that feeling of elation when you see the winning numbers... or have $10 million that you've already had for a few years?

Now obviously, having the $10 million means you are in a better situation.

But there's NOTHING like that feeling of watching each of your numbers get picked, one by one, and the unbelievable joy right after that 6th number goes your way.

Depends on if we won or lost the game. I love the adrenaline rush that comes with the nail biters although the letdown when you come up short sucks. I'm sure the neighborhood could hear the screams coming from my house after each of Folk kicks went through the uprights or Tony Romo 2nd TD pass to Crayton. As I said in another post the movies and TV shows could not script a show any better.

I enjoy the close games, if we win. It is tough on the old ticker though.

Yeah - nothing is worse than a close loss. I love the way I feel today, but man was it an roller coaster last night.

Did not play a single snap yet you feel exhausted afterwards. :laugh2:

LOL exactly.

I am doing everything in my power to try to get to this weekend's game. I doubt I can, monetarily just too prohibitive. But in games like that you almost feel like you were a part of it if you are there.

I love winning these games, but hate losing them even more (see last year's Commanders loss).

Plus, we had quite enough of these in 2005 to last a number of years, thank you.

For how you feel? The close one. Anyone who still likes roller coasters will appreciate the adrenaline rush that came from simply WATCHING something happen. The high off this game is so high, it's incredible. Nothing like that in sports.

With a blow out, you've settled with yourself that it's over, and you're ready to just move on and enjoy things. Nowhere near as euphoric as the last second victory.

I was so pumped I could not go to sleep until about an hour after the game so I stayed up watching ESPNEWS to watch the press conferances yet was gased as if I had just played the game myself. This morning came fast. :laugh2:

Blowouts.

Plain and simple.

I am only 23 and was fearful of suffering a heart attack.

Same way in loses for me. Losing a close one hurts in games where we were blown out I sit there watching as it sinks in and more of a numb feeling but not as painful. :laugh2: Buffalo fans have got to be hurting big time today

The Cowboys have always had a knack for dramatic finishes- win or lose- and that's why I'm a fan of the team. You can't love something if they can't break your heart. It's moments like that you live for, when you get something back for being emotionally vested in a team.

An incredible, confidence building game. Do we need to play better? Absolutely. But we have proven that we definitely can. It's gonna be a wild ride this year... but I like our odds. How many teams can overcome what the Cowboys did last night? Not many- in history.

Last night wasn't too uncomfortable for a close game. For some reason, I felt pretty good about the Cowboys' chances all the way to the end (although the reversal on the Owens catch/drop in the final 20 seconds was a gut check moment).

I'll tell you one thing, though, I'd absolutely hate to be on the opposite end of this game. What an absolutely brutal way to lose a game.

Blow out. I don't know if I could take much more like last night's game.
