I was thinking of the little things that made the cowboys so cool. that have vanished over the past 15 or so years

that long win streak we had vs Cards... (now they beat us its seems every time we play)

The Tampa Bucs never beating us.

The New England Pats never beating the cowboys

a 4 game win streak vs the steelers ( winning in 91,94,95(superbowl win) and 97) now they have won the last two games vs us and beat us to 6 superbowls and are on there way to winning number 7 in our stadium

Winning our 5th superbowl vs the steelers and finally having more superbowls than they do... and beating them for number 5.

I am sure you all can think of more interesting things. now what do we have ? I have no idea what to call it.. but it is nothing like the first 35 years of cowboys football.

Now you have the Jerry Big Top Circus! Ain't it cool

The longer a franchise exists, the more records and stuff fall by the wayside. You have to realize that the Cowboys had 20 consecutive winning seasons at one time. That 20 years was 40% of our 50 years of existence. Of course, we compiled a lot of great stats and records during that time. Unless there is another 20 season streak, the longer the Cowboys exist, the more those records will fall. Frankly I'm not concerned with that right now. I just want the Cowboys to win one game. Just one. Then let's take it from there.

In fairness to Jerry, Tex Schramm was quite the publicity guy himself. It was just OK because they were perennial playoff contenders. Of course, no one tops Jerry when it comes to promotion and entertainment.

We've been 9-6 since our winning streak vs Arizona ended.

We haven't lost to Tampa in 7 years and currently have a 3 game winning streak vs them.
