Providing we don't resign Dalton.......maybe Brissett or Minshew ?????

Add: Gardener Minshew, Jamie Winston, Mitch Trubisky, Cam Newton

Like 2020, the 2021 offseason potentially will feature plenty of quarterbacks with NFL experience. We ripped through some of them on Friday’s PFT Live. Sam Darnold, Philip Rivers, Matthew Stafford, Andy Dalton, Matt Ryan. Dak Prescott, if the Cowboys don’t tag him again. (They’d be crazy not to.) Jimmy Garoppolo, Jacoby Brissett. Maybe Alex Smith, if Washington doesn’t want to pay his $16 million salary and releases him

maybe daks replacement even..hmmm:rolleyes:o_O

dont say it cant happen

if a long term deals not worked out right after the season early in FA they have to get a vet even if its keeping dalton because if Daks FT not traded i have feelings hes holding out and will flat FORCE A TRADE more then likely,,

so yes we need real vets potential starter/backup

Dak will be the Cowboys' 2021 QB.....franchise tag or long-term deal.

Agree, plus I think with an offseason and some reps Nooch will be a perfectly acceptable backup. He will look greatly improved in preseason next year and will look better than Cooper Rush.

And now I have to shower after reading the words Trubisky, Jameis and Winston in the same post.

BTW: If Dak plays 2021 on the tag and not expecting a 3rd tag.....2022 could be the year they blow this team up and rebuild. Remember it's the same year they can get out of DLaw, Cooper, Jaylon Smith, and maybe Zeke deals.

seriously after one game that what you got, Chaz Green played 2 games the year before the incident in ATL and played very well..cant judge a player on small sample..

i prefer a vet

he wont play on the FT book it.he will force trade..

so hope for the LTD but better have insurance before they are all taken..
I can certainly see him threaten to hold out and test Jerry and Stephen's patient but no way you sit out and leave $37M on the table. But if it gets to that, they might as well trade him, coz bad blood has likely ended this marriage.

I think he has the skills and will make a bigger jump in his second year than most players do. He was playing against Albany State College of Automotive and Dishwasher Repair last year and wasn't awful playing with no reps and a horrible OL. Give him an offseason and he will be a decent backup at a low price.

i've always like alex smith.
but if the money is right...i'd consider darnold.
let him sit and learn.
or.
just keep gilbert and draft another late rd qb...WHO CAN THROW OVER-HANDED.

I thought they all fell in love with Gilbert.
