Do you think Daron Bland would have a trade market this year?

Depends on your goals.

You want to at least pretend you want to make the post season, you keep Bland. As far as his trade value there isn't much now but maybe if a team loses some players. Keep in mind no CB or DB played well for Dallas last year so anyone trading for Bland is banking on not just his health but that he gets back to being a really solid CB this year.
In his defense, last year he was injured and playing on a defense that had almost no pass rush and could stop the run.

Worst situation for any player. Bad coaching, no real help anywhere on defense to mask issues

I know it’s the slow season, but something occurred to me between reading and watching offseason reports and minicamp news.

Is there the possibility that Daron Bland is not a starter in Dallas?

Based on news, there are several younger, cheaper players who are stepping it up in his on-field absence.

My personal opinion is that the team already regrets signing him to that extension and I think they’re already looking for a way out.

My initial thought was that they would try to trade him or ultimately release him next year.

But now I can’t help but to wonder if the team might potentially try to move him before the start of this season.

However, I can’t help but wonder if he has a trade value at all right now?

I’m interested to hear some other opinions?
Trade value for him is at a low. Health concerns would not help with trade value. Im a fan and the best we can do is hope he recovers and return to form.

I'd say zero trade value. Hard to trade huge salaries anyway, but w/ a player who can't stay healthy and has been underperforming?
