Do you think Demarco sets the record Sunday?

Probably. I foresee only three circumstances in which he wouldn't:

1) The Giants sell out to stop him. In which case, Dez breaks into the top 5 in receiving yards by game's end.

2) The game is in hand at some point in the third quarter.

3) He gets injured.

If they load up to stop the rushing record, we will kill them with the passing game...

In short... Yes...

I mentioned it on another post that Murray has always ran well against the Giants. Even when we had crappy OLine and the Giants had top defenses.

He will get his 100+ yards this week. Besides, since their secondary will be playing backups, they can't afford to stack the box and not help their CBs all the time.

I'm more about the win than the 100 yard plateau. In a perfect world Randle would get some extra carries and Murray take the rest after 3 quarters. Would really be terrific to see Joe Randle take the ball 8 times in the 1st three and he and Dunbar take another 8-10 in the 4th quarter. Of course this means we win going away 44-7

I had to look it up. Never heard it before reading Shogun.

Great book and mini-series. My wife is from Qingdao but we have some friends in Japan mostly Toyko. So I get to talk some about the old culture and bushido which is a fairly modern concept. The bushido we see portrayed in media is generally the way of the warrior and not the code now. Seppuku is a good bit older than modern bushido.

Netflix has a streaming three part documentary on the Samurai. I find that fascinating.

With this OL being what they are, I imagine there'll be a concentrated effort to help Murray achieve that record. If it doesn't come to pass, it probably won't be because the effort wasn't made. No question, though, the Giants will be intent upon making up for last week's spanking handed to them by Philly. We'd better come prepared for their best effort. Whether their able to stop a running game that's proven pretty tough so far remains to be seen.

On a side note, worth notice, this might also prove to be an audition for Pellerin and what is done out at right tackle as well.

i think he will ...what do you think?

i actually think he might go for 120 or so..

interesting that he hit exactly 100 on the nose against the rams..

if he does break the record they will decipher that game with a fine toothed comb ..

I think he go's 155 yards on 26 carries and 2 touch downs Sunday.

The Way of the Samurai. Good. There is no good way to translate that to Mandarin. Maybe simply Wu shi de lu but not the same as bushido. However these warriors who served started in China long ago and evolved further in Japan. Interesting topic but a tad OT here.
