seems like the team thought it could just show up and win. all the hype...like movie stars. maybe other teams stepped their game up.

These things are really entertaining but I do think it does take the mental edge off of training camp.

But again, these guys are professionals and we don't know how they prepare. So I could be wrong.

is there anyone who does not?

it was a mistake...the only question is to what degree.

Well, we did go 5-11 last time this happened! :laugh2:

Kidding aside, I do think it was a tremendous distraction and sent a message to the rest of the teams, not to mention most of America, that we are a cocky team. And they were pretty cocky at times...not to mention our attention to detail was not in practice...it was on the spotlight.

You mean they did Hard Knocks last year too in the midst of becoming the first NFC #1 seeded team in 20 years to make an early exit? Really?

And are you saying too if KC hadn't done Hard Knocks last year, they would have been the Super Bowl Champs instead?

Let's get real...we're already making tons of excuses for them now, let's not add another (small)one to the huge pile already.

Like Jerry says (paraphrasing) "any publicity for the Cowboys is good publicity."

Everything and anything but football with this guy.

yes tooo much glamour on this team, not thinking about football and playing football

not at all.

It was another excellent Idea from Jerry Jones.

There is a reason only teams with ego maniacs at coach or gm have allowed that show.

But hey, they got to take one of those old scenic train rides.
