Do you think our recent signings alter our draft game plan at all?

With all these recent signings and resignings, no matter if you call them camp body's, war daddy's, depth, bums or starters.

Do you think they alter our Draft game plan at all?

As in our chances of still taking a WR, CB, DT, etc.... in round 1 if a Good prospect falls or is still available?

Terrance Williams probably did. These Defense signings won't change how we draft

Draft strategy is set after all the guys' pro days are done in mid April. Then they make the draft strategy last 2 weeks of April. Especially picking at 28 each round you're at mercy of the board.

So basically no these signings don't affect overall strategy because you can't pinpoint definitely being able to get someone when you pick.

These signings were likely predetermined since there's no reports of getting in bidding wars before them. Probably have another set of dominos ready to go once Romos future is set like McCown and the 5.4 extra

Pretty much nothing altered draft. Could easily take a WR in the first

I don't think so.

Had Williams signed a one year deal, perhaps. But I would be very surprised if they took a WR in the first, especially if they won't be more of a special teams player.

Williams is basically getting a 3rd WR salary. WR's especially that late in the first often have a longer learning curve. A WR you draft could be in Brice Butlers role this year, take Williams job the next and Williams is cut two years and I believe all of his guarenteed money into his deal

I'd guess the Cowboys are thinking BPA with a lean towards Defense...

I'd bet if a WR is the best player on thier board but there is a corner is number 3, I think they take the corner.

I think it puts the brakes a bit on WR for sure. You have 4 capable WRs . If we're trying to win now you go defensive.

They really need to prioritize the rush and pass defense. Having said that you cannot make a blanket statement we will go defense the first two days. There will be pass rushers in R2-4 as well as DBs. If an OT or WR falls then you could see one taken R1-4. If you have a very high grade on any OL then they might go early to us. I think it would take a special TE to go early for us but there is at least one out there probably more.

Lets be realistic we have dez under a huge contract and Williams and Beasley under solid contracts we aren't drafting a WR in the first. Maybe 2nd or 3rd like DeDe or Zay jones. That first round pick is going to be defensive. OJ Howard isn't lasting and that Miami TE is way overhyped he's another Ebron.
