Unfortunately, it's the fans that care about an organizations history. This is just how it is in the era of free agency football.

Sure, some of them can talk a little bit about it, but players don't care about last week, like fans do.

Do I wish that they ALL cared about living up to it's history? Yep.

Let's get real here though...football has turned out to be a business more than in the past when players would stick with a team for their career.

That's just the reality.

Unless some of these players were fans of the Cowboys growing up, I seriously doubt they care that much about or know that much about it's history.....remember, most of these guys were born in the 80's....I'd venture to say that most of us were born well before that....hence, we remember the "good old days". Not to say that the first half of the 90's weren't bad though....

Again....FANS care about history....PLAYERS not so much. Just the way it is.

I think Romo appreciates it. He might not feel "obligated," but I don't think he's oblivious to it. And since he was a Packers fan I'm sure he remembers some of it.
