I trust this team to play hard with the talent they have.
I’d expect them to lose quite a few games to teams with obviously superior talent.
Unfortunately this team as of today is one legitimate NFL RB from being in the same boat they were the last few years and with much less talent than they had prior!

I do expect the team to get better as the season goes along. Especially the defense. Remember they’re working under their 3rd DC in 3 years. It’s going to take some time for everyone to get on the same page. Some good players will be coming back as well and some of the young guys well keep improving. The coaching will also bet better as they learn the strength and weaknesses of their players.

If Schott and crew are allowed to act as coaches, yes, you cant deny the progress we see. This is a new staff hopefully with a new directive, hopefully. I dont care, the season is lost, i dont want the coaches to lose it. Find your players, cut the fat, and start working on what you want to implement and what you want for the future.

Take the Jets and now the Giants tihs year, i dont care your wins and losses, are you learning, Daboll had everyone saying "Fire him" than he goes and beats the Eagles, "would you dump that if his QB is making progress?"

The Cowboys strategy is simply to win the games in which the opponents are worse than them.
The Jets game would have been a loss except for the turnovers and having Justin Fields in at quarterback.
But any real team will beat them.
The Cowboys path to the playoffs is to play mostly sub .500 teams.
