I don't think it tells us much. He will be 34 before the start of the season.

I'm not sure, you haven't paid much attention to the philosophy change if that's the case. Don't think Cowboys overpay any older vet going forward and that includes Spencer. Cole is worth as much as Dockett, he's a few years younger and been remarkably dependable over the years.
