Jaylon did play pretty well for a season or so, so I'm not sure how much his recovery had to do with his play. His problem seemed to be more with trying to go around blocks instead of taking them on and ending up in the wrong spot. I think the injury clearly robbed him of some mobility, but I don't think it is what messed up his career.
No problem taking a shot here .
Hope for the best.

I will guarantee that you are eating those words in a short period of time.Reminiscent of when Jaylon Smith was was drafted with optimism about his recovery. This player was a dog before the injury.
What bothers you guys about discussing the medical side of things?
Because we all know you’re out of your depth. Say hi to Jaylon’s brace for me.
He looks like he has issues shedding lineman. We need physicality
Leave it to Typhus to get his panties in a wad over something he thinks I said but didn't. I'm not saying Damone Clark's pro career will emulate that of Jaylon Smith so stop getting uppity about it. I'm only saying the drafting of both players was clouded by uncertainty but also optimistic speculation. Nothing more, nothing less.I will guarantee that you are eating those words in a short period of time.
Bookmark this post so that we can revisit.
Even if Clark is red shirted his rook year, this wasnt a 2nd round hopeful rebuild starter project.
Clark played through and with this injury until discovered and dealt with accordingly for routine procedure in the 5th round.
We hating on 5th round prospects now that have the very recognizable ability to become huge value with one of the 4 that we owned is a misguided view.
Clark would have been taken ahead of Dean easily and been the LB2 to Lloyd in this draft, and if you dont understand that than you just haven't taken any time to
care about paying attention.
Everybody should be pumped about getting a healthy 2nd yr player back in Cox for this season, so with the same patience you afforded Cox, the return on Clark will be buying in on this 5th round investment at bargain basement cap prices and that equals steal.
Thanks but add 20 lolBro., I remember you from way back. And you still aren't that old, maybe what? 40 now?
I'm still mountain biking, sprinting at 46...
And I have spondylolisthesis.
Thanks but add 20 lol
Totally different. The only likeness is that they were both injured. Jaylon had a much worse situation.Reminiscent of when Jaylon Smith was was drafted with optimism about his recovery. This player was a dog before the injury.
You don't listen. All I said was they were both drafted with optimism for their recovery. Yes, Jaylon was injured worse so certainly Clark's recovery will go better. You want to argue with me over things I did not say. Good luck with that. lolTotally different. The only likeness is that they were both injured. Jaylon had a much worse situation.
Would a mountain of unsold jerseys and sunglasses do?I’m still waiting for that mountain of evidence that would show that he wasn’t terrible.
They are not in a bunch, just advocating the Clark pick is all.Leave it to Typhus to get his panties in a wad over something he thinks I said but didn't. I don’t mind taking these shots in later rounds because odds are against those guys ever being impact players. Get fortunate with an injury recovery and you end up with a much better player. I wouldn’t have taken that shot with Smith. Why can't we STOP drafting players with major injury concerns!!!!!
Your avi reminded me of why I do what I do.Man, for whatever reason, back in the days when we used to clown around with Midsquirt, I thought you were younger than me.
Anyway, I'm sure you've aged well.
Good to see you around.
Yup, an entirely different situation, my friend. Let's hope it stays that way. LVE had the same fused neck surgery and he hasn't been the Wolf Hunter since. But you go right ahead and advocate for the Clark pick. I respect it, I agree with it and I'm glad to see someone doing it.They are not in a bunch, just advocating the Clark pick is all.
This is a different situation entirely is all Joe.
