We have as much right to bash Jerry as you have to defend / support him. That's how things work, or at least how they SHOULD work.

The issue many of us have is that it's Jerry making announcements like this and not his HC.
You have so many things you can bash him about that he actually deserves to be bashed for, but this is not one of those things.. Who cares if it's the HC or him giving the update? This allows the HC to focus on important things like game planning and actually coaching instead of providing updates to the media.

Jerry should go ahead and fire MM and name himself HC. He's already been doing the job for the most part.
When you think about it, I'd rather have MM doing HC things than doing interviews, and keep Jerry away from the team...so two birds, one stone.

Doctor Jerry says there is a chance Ferguson can play Sunday.

Speaking on 105.3 The Fan on Tuesday, owner and general manager Jerry Jones said he "absolutely" believes there's a chance Ferguson takes the field this coming Sunday, and then spoke to the dodged bullet.
well, he has a whole bunch of Ferguson Jersey's sitting in the store he has to sell. if Fergi is on the sideline, those jersey's will just sit for a while. we can't have that now. can we?

If they're saying he has a chance to play its likely more of a pain tolerance issue. I'd assume if reinjury were a concern the would automatically shut him down this early in the year against what SHOULD be a lesser team.
I am glad it's s home game. They are tough in the Super Dome.
