Since you're including coaches, Landry might fit in there. He introduced the Flex defense and brought other innovations to the game that are still used today.

As far as players, Emmitt could make an argument too.

Yep that injury was a tradgedy. I really was shocked when i heard about it.

I dont know about the guy and how he was in private. But i heard a lot of players that said he flipped a switch on the field. You wouldnt play or mess with him after that. Haha. Great!

Belichick is extremely overrated. He has a losing record without Brady. And he didn't even put Brady in until Bledsoe was hurt. If that didn't happen we may have never heard of Brady.

I agree, Emmitt is a 3 time Super Bowl winner, league MVP, super bowl MVP and all time yardage leader. He belongs there more than Barry. No disrespect to Barry but Emmitt is the man

I lived in Michigan in the 90’s and this is almost verbatim what my argument was/is to all the Detroit Lions fans. In the biggest games Emmitt came through. Barry disappeared.

Barry was a human highlight reel. Very fun to watch but if I’m starting the playoffs and I can pick one RB between Emmitt or Barry, I’m going with Emmitt every time. He balled out when it counted.
