I love these threads. I took my medicine for wanting Manzel over Martin. That was much stupider than this one.

Zeke is a game changer and many on here knew that and were right. I wasn't sure and at the time would've been happy with either. It's clear now we made the right pick. He may be the best back already.

The fact that EE compliments our strongest unit (O line, obviously) so well makes him worth any pick. He's the final piece that makes our offense basically unstoppable.

I thought Ramsey was the smarter move in the long term, so it's hard to really say anything definitive right now.

But I was really excited when we took Zeke instead. Zeke was the best player in the draft.

I wanted Ramsey over Zeke.

Elliott has been awesome. But Ramsey has also been playing well for a rookie CB. But clearly for this team Elliott has proven to be the best player we could have taken.

It also helps that the secondary has improved by leaps and bounds. Everybody thought this secondary was going to stink on ice and thus, the reason for getting Ramsey.

I think up until about a month before the draft I was one of those guys, coveted Bosa or Ramsey, but if Wentz, or Goff fell I also would of taken the bait because of Tony's history. I had only seen Elliott play the game where he complained about getting the ball. That sent him down my list, I was hoping for one of my guys in round 1 and then Hightower(Heisman winner) in the second. Someone posted a highlight reel of Zeke on the zone and I became a believer. His blocking was the tipping point for my conversion, never seen such great form and technique. I have never witnessed a blocker like Zeke, who can also run and catch so superbly. I was thinking last night that he is a upgraded faster version of the eagles player that used to roast us Brian Westbrook not so much running style but the amount of havoc he can create either running or catching. Westbrook played about 5-10 years ago, mature zoners will remember his name and play.

lol basically. This has been a dead issue for about a month now and clearly over with now. Zeke is the man, he was the right pick and I've never been happier to be wrong.

Disagreeing with sound logic is hardly something to be embarrassed about, let alone when being wrong leads to such good times.

The reason I wanted Ramsey over Zeke is because RB's that can produce at a high level are a dime a dozen and barely average corners get paid 10 mill a year.

I said all along that Zeke can't be average. He can't be just good or a little better than good. He has to be a NFL superstar.


Right now.. I'm taking Zeke over Ramsey.


Zeke is a superstar tailback and I feel comfortable saying he is the best runningback in the NFL.
