Does anyone else have a feeling about this week?

I just got a feeling we will find a way to beat the Commanders this week.

For some reason we always seem to crash these guys hopes and if it happened again Sunday it would not surprise me.

We are a team with very good depth. Our secondary depth may be an issue but then again im not worried about either QB lighting it up. Even with our back ups in.

Plus Brad Johnson will probably do no worse than Solid.

Factor that in with a decent group he will have around him we may do ok on offense.

If Tony and the first unit can build us a lead I think the 2nd unit is good enough to at least get field goals.

Im excited about this game Sunday and I haven't been this excited since the Green Bay game.

Anyone else have a feeling we are going to pull this one out?

Its not like the Commanders are going to put our first unit away early in the game.

If a few things go right in the 1st half our 2nd unit could hang on for the ride and get the W.

Im comfortable with all of our backups that aren't corners and Oline.

In my opinion, the entire game hinges on Todd Collins. He's played very well thus far, but he is what he is--a career backup. It's only a matter of time before those qualities that have relegated him to the bench begin manifesting themselves. He's been in the league for a decade, and if he was capable of playing at a high level consistently over an entire season, I think an offensive coordinator or coach would've noticed it long before now.

Also, the Cowboys will probably lack intensity this week. And they know the Commanders could very well be their first opponent in the playoffs. Consequently, Dallas will likely play very basic schemes and coverages, revealing as little of their playbook as possible. Washington, on the other hand, doesn't have the luxury of hiding plays.

At the beginning of the game, they will know if New Orleans won or not. A Dallas win over Washington therefore would eliminate the Skins. Perhaps that could factor into things as well.

Are you saying that Dallas would prefer playing one playoff opponent over another? Or that they might be less inclined to beat the Skins if the Saints would get in?;)

I have a feeling the Cowboys are going to get killed. I see one team out for blood, the other kindof wanting to get by with no injuries and little stress. And FedEx is not an easy place to play. I am not looking forward to the buttwhoopin. Hope that i am proven wrong.

I haven't really thought about the game that much this whole week.

Hopefully we win. I just want the team to finish the game healthy.

I've got the same feeling that we'll win fairly handily. I'm surprised to see such low expectations on this board for a season-ending game with a weaker rival, frankly.

The thing is... if we fall behind at some point during the game.... we wont have the unit on the field to answer most likely... we wont be able to go tit for tat.

I hope the defense plays a tough game and helps the offense.... maybe a defensive TD and or a ST TD.

I have a feeling we will get trounced. I hope not and it would be great if our backups won, but the Skins are playing well, playing at home and playing for a playoff berth.

The Commanders have lost to some garbage teams this year too though.

Other than offensive line our 2nd unit offense is more than capable of mustering up some points.

Im sure there is going to be a lot of ****s and giggles with them out there but we have some young guys capable of making big plays.

Im worried about our 2nd unit of corners and Oline. Other than that we're good to go.

Yeah but this is not just any game... ITS COWBOYS vs. Commanders - that makes a big difference

If not for OWENS scoring that TD before he left the game against Carolina... we probably lose that game. We only scored 3 points in 2nd half.

Miles Austin is going to take care of that.
