does anyone feel this way?

I wish I had taken the red pill instead of the blue pill in the offseason. Just like Neo did in "The Matrix".

me too, that's why I'm done getting excited about this team

I am in a serious, "prove it then I'll root" mode

I don't watch much after a loss...don't really wanna hear anything that has to do with football

nope i dont feel the same way.

i am watching the skins game right now....pulling hard for the Browns to
win.
we need our division and NFC counterparts losing every time we do.

this thing aint over.....i am a little amazed at how easily folks on this board
give up.

sure it sucks when the Boys lose..especially when they suck the way they did today...but there are still 9 games left.

Not wanting to watch other football games after a loss is hardly "giving up."

What have you seen lately to give you confidence that those 9 games will be enjoyable?

Today was very painful.

To answer the OP's question, I don't watch other games.
Mercifully, they switched our game off here in WV when it got to 31-7, ... I went on about a 90 minute motorcycle ride through the beautiful fall countryside with the leaves changing and tried to clear my head.

This was more than just a loss to me, it was a revealing, troublesome loss.

Yes, it sux. Even if the other division foes lose, we don't gain anything. Of course they're all winning!

No...wrecks the whole day and week. But I'll be up front an honest, I was FAR less optimistic about this team from week one than almost anyone. I've said REPEATEDLY that the lack of leadership will kill this team and I stand by it. No leadership - from top to bottom. Too many distractions, no killer instinct, lack of focus, too many penalties, the list is long.

Injuries have not helped either.

Like I've said in several other posts, this team does not give me a feeling that I have had in previous championship seasons. There is a void there.

Having said all this, I'm gonna get me another beer.

Those were my feelings too Sarge. I didn't want to pour water on Hostile's post about this season feeling like 92 or 93 season, or however he posted it prior to season.

But for me, It was more about Romo on Offense. I just don't get him to be the great QB that many think he might be. He is not bad or even average, but he is not Great QB, IMO.

Then on Defense, right on money. Especially pre-season, pretty much had me thinking that this team is not going to be great on Defense. Sure I had hopes that I was wrong on my thinking.

Then my final nail was Arizona game.

After a loss I usuallly throw the coaches and players under the bus and throw F bombs all over the place. I could give a rats A*&*&* about the other games on TV. And the day is pretty much ruined and it goes by real slow.

Finished 18 holes this morning with my son and a buddy, went to a sports bar to eat lunch and watch the game; When Brad (which way did he go?) Johnson trotted back on the field in the 2nd half, we left and went and played another 18.

This team is a laughing stock and a rather expensive one at that.

I like football... so yes, I watch as many games as possible.

My expectations for the Cowboys this year hit rock bottom when we let the Bengals hang around late in the 4th quarter. I had a gut feeling that something was not right with this team.

Unfortunately, I drank the cool-aid in the offseason. :bang2:

Everyone I know is laughing their butts off at this team..... and rightly so! :laugh2:

Anyone else feel like the rest of the week sucks *** and goes slow as hell?

Thats how I feel.

Yep. Unfortunately, I've been living that way all my life and I'm now 46. I've repeatedly told myself that it is so stupid for allowing something that I have absolutely zero control over holding such sway over my happiness. Pathetic really. The price of either being a true fan or a true idiot. I know which one my wife says is accurate. Maybe she's right.

yes....it is hard.....who cares once Dallas loses....it is ruining my life

I like your post. Just about how I feel. I love the Cowboys and it hurts me when they lose, but its even worse when they lose like this. How the Cowboys can lose with so much talent is stupefying.
