Please understand that I mean no disrespect, but you must be young. Cowboys fans learned this when Miles Austin was called as down years ago when a guy dragged his leg. Austin got the leg free, but the top of his ankle (Yes, the TOP) dragged the ground as he pulled away. That was the day that this rule was REALLY driven home for me. I mean, we've known for decades that "one knee equals two feet" (Thank you John Madden) and "one butt cheek equal one knee which equals two feet" (also John Madden), but I never knew until that day, that the top of the foot and the ankle counted too.
