Does anyone know what really happened with Raitliff?

Watching him play yesterday against the Packers got me thinking and I don't recall ever getting a reason as to why they cut him. I thought they said he wasn't physically able to play which is obviously not the case. If this has been answered somewhere in the forum I'd love a link.

It's Ratliff. He had a bad attitude and didn't want to play in Dallas. He blamed the training staff for making his injuries worse.

The big question is if they try to get money back from him due to failure to cooperate with the trainers or whatever reason.

I'm not sure we the fans will ever know all the details on this one, but man who would've thought a few years back that Rat's career here could've ended so poorly and on such a bad note. What a disappointment.

When Kiffin and Marinelli came in our front office told them Ratliff would be ready to go day one. The truth was they had no clue what was going on. When they finally figured out that Ratliff was milking it for all he could and had no intention of playing another down for the Cowboys they cut him instead of putting him on IR.

Jerry Jones called him out in front of the entire lockeroom and Ratliff was pretty much done in Dallas at that point.
