The Road was fantastic, one of the best books that I've read in a long time. Judging from the other books you like, I'd recommend "The Wind Up Bird Chronicle" by Haruki Mirukami.

Yeah it was a great read. I look forward to seeing the movie when it finally comes out. Cheers for the recommendation as well. I love getting reading suggestions!

The divine Comedy by Dante is one of my all time favorites

And If I really wanna get adventurous I read books by occultist like Alester Crowley,HP Blavatsky and Alice Bailey

I read three of the four you have listed as a Senior in high school.

Ayn Rand- The Fountainhead
Aldous Huxley- Brave New World
George Orwell- 1984

I really enjoyed them.

I received a free copy of Ayn Rand's Atlas Shrugged a while back but have not read it yet.
