Acquiescing is not being a fan. “Just chill” is for people who do not care one way or the other. Showing genuine disdain is not complaining. The Dallas Cowboys don’t seem to be trying as hard to win as other teams do. Fans have “no power or control”, but they can complain. Whether you like or not.

i have 0 problem with any player saying what dak did.
he's the qb...the leader of the team...whether perceived or real...the qb is the face.
he should feel that way.

my problem is the way jerry and son do football stuff.
they do not know what they're doing and refuse to change.
but they own it.
so ain't a whole lot i can do about it.
stephen comes across as a guy poking the fans...why he does that???
little man syndrome maybe.
but neither one seems to care like we fans do.
i was a cowboys fan before jerry bought the team....and i will be til i die.
neither are the reason i root for the cowboys.
and neither of them ever will be.

Back "in the day" there were actually more homers than there were haters. Now, the haters are about evenly split with those who favor the team and its fight. I'm talking mostly about the days prior to those when Jerry took over the team after Jimmy left. The critics weren't nearly as plentiful back then. Posters who are free being critical now often thought twice before saying the things we see now. Things have really changed. There's no question but what winning makes a world of difference with our expressed thoughts and opinions. I'm sure we're all more critical now.

Does anyone on the Dallas Cowboys know how to read the room? Or do they just like to gaslight us fans? Honestly, between Dak's comments about being "close" to Philly, Jerry's typical comments, and Stephen's use of air quotes to describe our drought, which, yes, is a drought, it just begs the question.

I suppose it's what happens when the local media can't say anything or Jerry will "have someone else" ask the question. That said, it's absolutely mind boggling how the Cowboys seem to think the more they talk, the more they will speak it into exist. The only star you can wish on is in Pinocchio. Then again, Jerry might be the real boy that was originally Pinocchio. That might explain a lot.

Jerry and his son are totally tonedeaf.
It's really amazing, but sad for us fans.
