Does anyone think Holland will be resigned?

No, he is not reliable enough - he gets out of shape and his body breaks down. His season ended with a pretty bad biceps tear from what I recall so I don't know how his recovery has gone.

We have the two vets.

We have all the kids.

There is no need to bring him back unless someone gets injured.

I think the reason they didnt resign him is because he sucks.

I almost think that is why they haven't signed him but may sign him closer to camp.

If his job is secure he'll fatten up and become worthless. If he has to worry about finding a job, he'll have to stay in shape to some degree.

Breakdown part.....not really much you can do about it so you either sign him and use him until he falls apart again or pass.

It'll be interesting to see. If none of the young guys look capable enough, I think he'll be back.

And the way he pitched the past 2 games, he should be getting minimum wage!

I don't think the Cowboys have any intention of signing him but sometime vets like Holland are 1 injury away from getting a phone call.

I think if the Cowboys resigned any OL it would be Kosier because he can back up all 3 interior OL positions and he's a good lockerroom guy. His physical breakdown might can be minimized if he's not asked to play as a starter for 16 games.

Kosier is completely over the hill. If it weren't for costa, he would be an easy target for our worst linemen last year.

Yeah we have done this before, injuries will decide a thing like whether or not he will be back. Holland played well when he was out there, so he would be worth a look if we have another guy go down like we had last season.

I figure the hope is they don't have to call him, and the youth will be fine, but we won't know that til camp. If we sign Holland, and there hasn't been an injury, thats probably a bad sign for the 'youth'.

I think Dallas may looks to see if any Vet centers get cut in camp or before camp and may make a run at one after then.

We could see some after the draft or we may go with what we have and see who wins out at center

He was playing with plantar fascia, so it doesn't matter if he was a young 25 year old. You just can't play with leverage with a bad wheel.

Short of massive injuries on the OL, no.

I think a lot of it depends on what they have in Leary, Arkin, and Nagy. If none of them show any improvement over last year, I wouldn't be surprised to see a call to Holland as the preseason winds down.
