let Barber go?NO WAY.He is just putting it out there to get a fair deal.Nobody will give up that much and if they would unless it was a top 5 pick JJ is going to match it.Marion isnt going anywhere fellows.I do however feel he is going to let Flo go and I do feel its a mistake,Flo plays well against the nfc east especially and there is chemistry on that line, but i think he is going to get megabucks.

If someone in the top 10 offerred MBIII a nice contract, I think JJ would let him walk.

If someone in the 20's offers the contract, you almost have to match it unless it's crazy high.

MBIII is our starting RB, but he didn't take that spot or take most of the carries until the playoff game...figure that one out???

I think we're hoping to sign him relatively cheap and not as a probowl top RB in the league contract...if no one makes an offer, he's ours relatively cheap. If someone makes a crazy big offer, we may let him walk and use the draft for a RB.

You know guys I really like MBIII and really want him to stay a Cowboy. I think drafting or signing a FA RB to team with MBIII would be best for the Cowboys and for MBIII. It would extend MBIII's football career and in the end earn him a lot more money with a very good team.

I do admit to not being sure he can handle 25-30 rushes every game and maybe in some cases even more. I think he has the desire but I worry about his stamnia since he's such a violent runner. He throws his whole body into every run and you gotta wonder how soon he will wear out. Can he really do it for 16 games plus the playoffs year after year?

Rosenhaus is trying to get MBIII every dollar he can and that's his role; of course he also gets a portion of the salary MBIII will get. Frankly I think Rosenhaus is trying to stir the pot to get as much interest as possible in MBIII so the Cowboys will offer more money. Frankly I just don't think (admittedly got no reason whatever to think this) MBIII wants to go anywhere else or maybe that is wishful thinking on my part. I just wonder if there is such an offer out there that MBIII might take it and discover after 1-2 years his career is over cause of injuries whereas if he had shared the load he'd actually have earned even more money with a longer career, etc.

I just like the way MBIII plays and looking forward to seeing him do it for quite a few more years. I'd hate to see him take all the money he can get right now and discover within 2 years his career is over & except for the SB he got. I just think Jerry will be more then fair to MBIII and MBIII needs to really be careful when making his decision; Rosenhaus will be pusing for the bigger contract, cause that's where he makes the most money.
