They could indeed. The question posed is CAN they win, not WILL they win. That is why it's a stupid question, designed I suspect to incite an argument.based on what we have seen thus far why would anyone in their right mind not see this as a game they could just as easily lose?
I disagree. Baker has energized and changed the browns , a team that was winless for 2 years . He is very talent and a gamer .No team would take Baker over Ryan right now. Ryan is a far superior passer. The Browns are not guaranteed to pick up Baker’s 5th year option at this point.
....of course, we almost beat Seachickens and Rams. We just beat ourselves.
Who will turn the ball over more..Dak or Baker?
Baker Mayfield will put up the best numbers of his career against this secondary and their running game will be unstoppable
They matchup at our weaknesses.
-Our O-line is depleted. Collins isn’t going to be back til who knows, who knows what’s going on with Tyron. And they have Myles Garrett on the opposite end. After the Seahawks so called “atrocious” pass rush got pressure on Dak multiple times due to multiple holes opening (mostly because of Connor Williams and Joe Looney when he was in). Who knows what we’re in for with Myles Garrett. This may be a repeat of the Atlanta game back in 2017....
-Our defense as a whole. While Aldon Smith made huge strides forward last week, he alone cannot defeat an entire team. D-Law continues to be a no show, Jaylon is slow, our secondary is hot garbage. Need I go on? Even Diggs is not that great. Yes he’s a rookie so I’ll cut him some slack, but man. When a rookie who’s always 2 steps behind is your best corner, you’re in extremely bad shape. Jarvis Landry? Odell? They’re going to feast on this horrendous secondary. Baker isn’t the best QB, but he can light your defense up on occasion. Especially if our front 7 can’t get pressure on him? Yeah. I’m not sure on that. Everyone says to give the defense time, however, we’re running out of time here. These are supposed to be the “easier”
games. If we can’t show up and show out, we’re either done in the division, or one and done in the playoffs.
Their running game is off the charts. Hunt and Chubb are a dangerous combo. With Jaylon Snail Smith running out there, I’m not sure we’re going to be able to stop the run. Good lord.
I’m not sure how we win this. I’ve heard the Browns secondary isn’t that great, which is good for Dallas, however, we have a common enemy here: Kellen Moore, aka, Jekyll and Hyde. Unless we’re down, he’s Hyde. Screwing things up. Calling stupid playcalls.
Thoughts?
Only GM Jerry would hold 31 million of our Cap dollars hostage for inept Prescott.heck no, we got the red rocket, so we should use it.
We now have the panic boy who gets tunnel vision after getting pressured, so should be an upgrade. ;0
Their run game and OBJ scares me. I think we should win but that doesn't mean we will.Their run game scares the hell out of me. Our DL gets pushed off the ball at will and our LBs are terrible. Chubb and Hunt are both extremely talented backs and we have no one who can stop them.
Baker Mayfield doesn't quite have the arm to bomb our secondary like Russell Wilson did, but I can see us getting a 180-200 rushing yard gutting. It could look like the Vikings game last year, or the Rams every freaking time we play them.
And Myles Garrett versus Brandon Knight, lolololol.

....of course, we almost beat Seachickens and Rams. We just beat ourselves.
We are also a fluke onside recovery away from being winless.
So yes, we are very capable of beating the Browns and we are also very capable of losing to the Browns.
