Does Bledsoe start vs Carolina?

I bet you were fun to be around during Aikman's first season. He sure looked like a winner that year.

That team stunk.

We need Romo. We were embarassed with Bledsoe in there. Romo put up a fight.

And gave away 17 points.

You're doing a hell of a job, Tony.

He only had 3 in a half and he didn't really play that much because the Giants dominated our line so badly. If he plays an entire game he'll throw about 8-10.

I think if Bledsoe is in there Sunday night, Julius Peppers will set a sack record.

Well, Peppers might, but we won there WITH BLEDSOE last year. And I don't think we were embarrased with Drew in there. We are down 12-7 AT HOME, and you are telling me at halftime you were ready to give up?

Yeah, we won SO MUCH with Deadslow last year, diddnt we?

Romo may set the NFL record for INTs if he plays an entire game.

He may set the NFL record for TD's. IIRC Aikman's 1st year wasn't all roses.

Both our QB looked bad tonight... Romo did show flashes but faired only a little better then Bledsoe did. So if you were the Cowboys HC who would you go with next week and beyond???

For me the answer is ROMO!!!

Why???

We know what we have in Bledsoe...teams that can get pressure on him can throw his whole game out of whack... and while Romo made some piss poor decisions tonight he is at least more mobile and able to create when a play breaks down

I will take a lot of guts on BS's part to stick with a change but I feel it needs to be done.

Tony Romo. Let's move on. The team rallies around Romo. He gave us a spark. He just needs to limit the mistakes. He can move in the pocket. He can run. He gets rid of the ball.

And most of all he's not a 14 year vet making rookie mistakes. The funny thing is I bet some of the Bledsoe Guys are the same ones who are quick to make a thread about Rivers and Gradkowski starting and playing well.

We on last year with JJ running for 190+. do you think that will happen again?

Romo was trying to make plays to keep us going, if he was making the bonehead plays when we are nursing a lead I could understand some objections, if Bledose stayed in he would be in the hospital right now having Giant Helmets removed from various parts of his anatomy. He reminded me of Aikman his last season in the NFL, shell shocked and one good hit from LaLa land.

Romo may be Brady, he may be Losman, but at least he's not Bledsoe.

The discussion should really end right there.

Never said we won so much I don't think? I just pointed out that we did beat Carolina with Bledsoe last year? Pretty sure that is all I said, but I do appreciate the well thought out response. Good stuff. Attack each other. NIIIIIIIIIIIIIICE!

I'm not sure what you meant with your 1st sentence there. I'm not attacking, just asking a ?. Do you expect JJ to run for 190+ again? I don't. I think Romo gives us the best chance to win. DB just looks to be getting progressively (sp?) worse

I was responding to someone earlier. Sorry about that. Do I expect JJ to run for that much, no, but Drew made some nice throws last year one of which won the game. Cinci had like 250 in the 2nd half last week against them. They have a makeshift line themselves, and Jake still has a tendency to chuck it up for grabs.

Agree about Jake (i live in NC also, so I see a lot of Panthers games), DB is not C palmer though. CP makes quick decisions and goes with it. DB has been regressing to me since his 1st game last year against SD, save the 1st Philly game last year. I think we'll have a shot though. I hope so anyway since I'll be there.
