Ouch! These stats might hurt Byron Jones from getting paid top 5 position pay.

What say you?

Misleading cause of his hip injury down the stretch but the answer is still no

We won’t be able to afford him anyways. We can talk to his agent but he is going to want a lot of money.

Wouldn't give him top CB money, but i'd make him an offer. he can always say no and move on.

NOT EVEN CLOSE
its insane whats in the water here with this team.. every player uo for contract in 2019 wants top 5 money or better..

todd the fans have turned on EE but hes the ONLY player this year up for deal that has earned better then top5 money..

BJ, Aamri, and Dak are not worth top 5 money as they will never truly earn it , they are who they are and over paying is not the way to go..

He was clearly a 1/2 step off late in the season. We'll have to hope it was directly related to the hip injury.

To answer your question, no. Good player. The depth at CB should be good enough to manage...

I wouldn’t say he is worth top 5.

Very good corner. But he doesn’t generate turnovers.

Got posterized way too much by JAGs and doesn't have a nose for the football. I say no.

Its not. The kid relies on his athleticism hence why he wasnt a better safety and why he isnt a playmaker. Hes an athlete not a football player theres a difference
He was a good safety the first year.

This is a horrible take that only shows bias and no football knowledge.

Non-playmakers don't have the PD #'s Byron puts up every single year. Truly stupid take.

I applaud you for sticking to your initial take of hating Byron, but he's proven you wrong so many times you have to give it up at some point.

We'll see this season.

They had him doing too much as the season progressed. He tended to be aggressive in his positioning of run defense (i.e. Stay up closer to the line when expecting run at the expense of giving up positing against the pass. This was more in zone or man-under snaps but they didn't play the other CBs as aggressively against the run.
