Not to be funny but in baseball when seemingly good hitters start to fall off they give a complete eye exam to see if the ability to see near and far have started to deteriorate...many of us are not aware that our eyes have deteriorated until we start straining to see etc

I would hope that the Cowboys trainers check the eyes of all the receievers and quarterbacks regularly to make sure that they can see at 100%

Hitters need to see a 4 inch ball moving at 90-100 MPH. Dak needs to see a 6 ft 200 lb receiver moving at about 20 mph. He'd have to be legally blind before his eyes would be a problem.

Dak's problem is in his head. He just is not making quick decisions or the right decisions. You don't have to have 20-20 vision to throw the ball out of bounds when nothing is there. or to se the play develop and take the dump off right away instead of waiting until even the outlet pass is not an option.

Honestly, he is just a mess right now. The one quick pass he threw trying to hit Schultz on a short route he threw right into the hands of the niners LB, who luckily dropped. it. I don't think he gets better next year. I think all these negative plays eat away at him and he regresses further.

In related news, Visionworks, Warby Parker and America's Best issued simultaneous news releases announcing the cancellation of ongoing endorsement contract negotiations with Dak Prescott's agent.

Something is odd though for him to all of a certain not now how to read a defense unless we are saying this has been an ongoing problem for 7 years....
I believe some QBs can read the field (Manning, Brady etc) in their sleep. Others like Dak are more one read guys. This isn’t the end of the world and great coaching can do wonders.

I always felt in a west coast system or something similar to what SF runs Dak would thrive. It’s still successful today with teams like Rams, 49ers etc.

I brought this up in a thread around the end of the regular season. Maybe he needs glasses.

I agree with the premise that something McCarthy understands and can have more input on (West Coast) is what is needed here. Not the proven loser system run by a guy who doesn't know it.

A visit to the Team Optometrist wouldn't hurt. You got to start somewhere, and that's the first place.
