Will signing Quinn end up being this generations Charles Haley? Obviously, its only a 1 year deal, but if he crushes it will his impact be like Haley?

And maybe they can find a way to resign him

If we had a Darren Woodson, that would be great too.

I do understand what you mean though. He looked good against Miami, and very good against NO.

Only if DLaw returned to form after a few games. It now has been 4 games for him.

Quinn had one great year back in 2013. He's no charles haley.

Very nice seasons in 2012 and 2014 too (10.5 sacks in each). Based off these first two games, I'm just shocked he was acquired for a 6th. It could be the PEDs but the man is astonishingly quick off the edge and seems to apply pressure on nearly every play. I admittedly hadn't watched a lot of Quinn the last few years but certainly if he was playing like this he never would have gotten away from the Rams/Dolphins.

I think the OP meant can Quinn have the same impact on this team that Haley had on the 90s team, not the entire career of Haley. Quinn looks awfully good so far. I felt bad for him at the end of the game. He deserved to win.

+1 ...See exactly what OP is saying and agree 100%. This team's been looking for a PAIR of impactful DEs for a while. Even with DWare, we never had a quality pass rusher to take some pressure off him. So far Quinn def looks legit. In fact, a 2-3 game wouldn't surprise me at all, forcing other teams to start game-planning for him, opening things for other players, the same impact by Haley.......

IF he keeps playing at this level, he could just be the Haley of this young team. We already have an Emmitt in Zeke, an Irvin in Gallup. :muttley:

Quinn has been incredible. But lets relax. Haley is in the HOF
Because he's retired. What's your point?!

Well with Quinn we have one good DE. It’s a shame Tank isn’t good now.

wasn't Spencer with him a while? if it wasn't for that injury Spence was a very nice compliment..at least from memory..

BTW also not for boneheads in Gregory or David Irving, those lines would be top 3 in the nfl.. DI was beast nearly unstoppable , Gregory showed promise, add that to Tank we had plan that backfired..

After witnessing the Dolphins offseason, you are surprised they parted with him for peanuts? They had a fire sale on good players.
