Does it ever bother you when Jerry brings up his past success stories?

Its seems in every press conference or whenever there's a microphone in his face, he's talking about current issues, but references his success back in the 80's and 90's as if that has anything to do with helping the current Cowboys. It's nice that he can reflect on the success he's had, but he's lost his touch, and he's clearly not using the same resources he used back then. Does this bother you to hear him talk about his past success, knowing that's not what we want to hear as fans. We as fans want to see action, not referencing how you won superbowls back then, or how you took risks when you first bought the team! Please give your thoughts
I ignore Jerry. He is a waste of time.

Jerry fancies himself as a master raconteur and folksy story teller. And he's in the autumn of his life. My take is just let it go.

No does not bother me talking past success but not interested in past success as much as I am the future success. Jones needs to get active in FA market. I think draft wise Cowboys are fine but FA, Cowboys need to be much more involved

it is meaningless for sure, but hey as Reality, when the present is crap, look to the past or future

Doesn't bother me a bit. I haven't listened to Jerry speak in at least 10 years...at least not more than a sentence or 2, when someone posts it here.

What past success stories?

Jimmy built the team that won three Super Bowls, not Jerry.

Jerry's success, only as an owner, has one chapter, one page, one sentence. He hired Jimmy Johnson by promising him full control over all football operations.

Jimmy had other offers. In fact, he was on Tex Schram's short list in the event that the owner forced him to fire Tom Landry,

As far as success as a GM, Jerry has none. He has only succeeded in destroying what others had built.

No, not really, besides there weren't many of them if any.
