Does it really matter?

We are two people away from having all three phases legit. A new OC who doesn’t run Garrett’s system so Garrett’s hands are out of it and a real NFL QB. The problem with using the 3rd year excuse for Dak is that time is running out. They are about to have to cripple the team to keep him and he isn’t playing anywhere near deserving of remaining the QB in Dallas and getting paid like a top QB. Those of us who can see and think clearly understand this team needs a different QB to take the next step. Dak is incapable of getting the job done and has proven it. Teams should not win in spite of their QB’s mistakes and inefficiency.

A team accomplishment is a team accomplishment. Why must we continuously tear our quarterback down? When we win, all 53 contributed. The same applies when we lose. So why the laser focus on finding a hint of anything to criticize when we've just accomplished the first goal they set out for this year?

This team is not perfectly constructed. Our offensive line is clearly not what it once was. Injuries or not. That's just a fact. Our wide receivers needed a trade injection mid season to finally have someone out there that would inspire the others to perform. Our offensive coordinator, head coach, and quarterback coach all leave an abundance to be desired. That is all factual information that you're welcomed to toss around... Oh & our 3rd year quarterback is still finding his groove like most 3rd year QBs do.

But.. there is indeed a reason to believe. That defense has been stellar all year and is continuing to improve. That defense is going to give us a real opportunity in the playoffs where the pressure is amplified. Those guys fly around and make bad things happen.

Will we ever have a situation again in our lifetimes where all three phases are legit at the same time? Probably not... But we don't need all three to be legit. We just need one to be stellar and the other two to be solid. We have a stellar defense, and an offense and special team that can both be considered solid. That type of chemistry wins Super Bowls. It does folks.

Does it really matter that our offense is solid and not spectacular? Not at all. We have a chance and that's all we can hope for. Let's rally around all 53. They deserve it.

Good post. We’ll never collect an all star team like the 90’s. Let’s see how the young team does. Who knows?

"crying"? people cant be critical?

There's a difference between being some fans being critical and in them flooding every single thread with Dak sucks, Dak needs to be replaced, Dak can't throw five yards, we need to draft a new qb over and over and over again. Even in threads where other teams are playing, its Dak this, Dak that. It gets tiring hearing the same thing over and over. Beautiful thing is, at most, we have one more year of Dak. If he steps it up, we go deep in the playoffs. If he doesn't, we spend that 1st drafting another qb.

He is no RKGarrett fan

Great thread.......we won the Division again today and Zoners are acting like a bunch of losers
Thanks man. All I can do is try to help them see the positives. It's great being on the positive thinking side of life.

who gets the blame this week for dak sucking? I've lost count on who's turn it is? qb coach again? offensive line? or is it the slow reader who's scared?

Because we want better and see that it could be better ..

If today had been Dak's first game starting, we'd all be saying "Yahoo! He can complete passes and doesn't hurt us too much."

But judged as a starting QB, one we might sign to a big fat contract, the standards are much higher. And he's not living up to them. Certainly isn't helped by Linehan, but Dak clearly owns some of the issues himself.

This board is getting to the point of being miserable. Dak didn't play well today, but we still won the game and there's still crying. No matter what happens, win or lose, people are crying about Dak. Even when he threw for over 400 yards, there was still crying.

Because they are pissed the hell off. They screamed that without Romo but with Dak, Dallas was headed nowhere. Now that Dallas is headed to the playoffs AGAIN they are mad.
Are they Dallas fans? Yes, but they are far more concerned about who gets credit. And the fact that the guy that sent Romo into retirement has AGAIN led his team to a winning season (3/3) and the post season (2/3) they are literally besides themselves with anger.

They WANT to lose and if Dallas does not...they will ***** and whine and complain because at this point their sports' lives has been shattered by the success of Dak.

EDIT: And what REALLY pisses them off is that Dak will EARN a new contract after this season. They are the definition of butt-hurt.

Lol, now it's a team accomplishment.

There would be a lot less people pointing out how poor Dak is, if there weren't so many threads of people trying to sing his praises, even after a poor (by his low standards) performance. Constant excuses, moving the goal posts, and double or triple standards.

We win despite our horrible QB...let that sink in. 126 passing yards vs the 28 ranked passing defense. That's not gonna cut it in the playoffs.

Are you paying him? Is it your money? Serious question. Some positions is the costs of doing business. You think the Bucs wouldn't to walk away from Winston? Probably should, but won't, but because they can actually do a lot worse.
Bucs supposedly are going to walk from Winston. At least that’s what I gather from the pregame shows today.

Roaches been around since the dinosaurs. And they're still here. They will never be gone. Until then theres the ignore button. And my list grows everyday lol
