Does it really matter?

Are you paying him? Is it your money? Serious question. Some positions is the costs of doing business. You think the Bucs wouldn't to walk away from Winston? Probably should, but won't, but because they can actually do a lot worse.

You think it's about the money? Or the fact that it handcuffs you to a player that is in the bottom tier at his position?

... Oh & our 3rd year quarterback is still finding his groove like most 3rd year QBs do.

Does it really matter that our offense is solid and not spectacular? Not at all. We have a chance and that's all we can hope for. Let's rally around all 53. They deserve it.

Most of your post was spot on, except for these two little nuggets.

Dak is downright awful. We have seen the same BS all year long. Missing wide open receivers, holding the ball too long and taking terrible sacks. He is hitting no groove. We are the only team who has not scored against Tampa Bay with first and goal.

Our offense is a steaming pile of poo. Elliott aside, we have major issues. Cooper can't throw the ball to himself. Jarwin can't make Dak throw an accurate pass when he is wide open. Our defense, no matter how good they are, cannot give us the 7 points every week, and essentially another 7 points by giving us the ball on the 4 yard line.

Dak was 20-25 for 161 yards. As little as they had the ball that is actually a pretty good day.
However it is his sacks he takes, his inaccurate passes that negates longer plays, or just missed throws.
But all QB’s can have those too.

The way they lost to the Colts, other than a few remarks here and there. I refrained from coming down to hard on the team.
They won today, so I will refrain from getting up to much from it. Or too much down that they looked sloppy.
It is a win, so will enjoy it and being Division Champs.

The D actually played decent except it didn’t seem like it because the refs helped push the ball down field for TB.
But they came up big when they really needed to.

The offense still struggles but that now is so evident it is more Linehan than Dak most of the time.

So other than game thread frustration I will try to hold off this week as well. Try to be objective in good and bad comments unless it is done with a bot of sarcastic / humor type stuff.

Though I said for some reason at the time, I didn’t feel good about it, as they looked sloppy. I mean I feel good about the win, but not how they looked.
Get it fixed next week against NY to go into the playoffs on a high note.

I dont care how we get to the playoffs we could get there butt first on bended knee all i know is were going there

Idc how we win a superbowl aslong as we get one.

On muvas we could win the superbowl with dak going 14/42 for 98 yards 1 td and 4 ints and elliott going 35 carries for 12 yards aslong as we hoist a lombardi
And a final score of 3-2.

"crying"? people cant be critical?

Not allowed to criticize the Messiah, Annointed One, Anti-Romo, etc, etc

We know what’s gonna happen in the playoffs. His Dakgression will continue and we will be one and done and have wasted 3 years on this abysmal experiment

Roaches been around since the dinosaurs. And they're still here. They will never be gone. Until then theres the ignore button. And my list grows everyday lol
Lol. I hear you man. I'm just a glutton for punishment. :D

I know one thing. If Dallas does somehow win it all playing this brand of unorthodox football,I’m making up a t-shirt ...”The Dallas Cowboys offense official Swamp Thing tour 2018.”

Whatever gets us a Lombardi bro. I'm all over it. It won't always be pretty. . That's something the Picassos in the group just can't understand.

A team accomplishment is a team accomplishment. Why must we continuously tear our quarterback down? When we win, all 53 contributed. The same applies when we lose. So why the laser focus on finding a hint of anything to criticize when we've just accomplished the first goal they set out for this year?

This team is not perfectly constructed. Our offensive line is clearly not what it once was. Injuries or not. That's just a fact. Our wide receivers needed a trade injection mid season to finally have someone out there that would inspire the others to perform. Our offensive coordinator, head coach, and quarterback coach all leave an abundance to be desired. That is all factual information that you're welcomed to toss around... Oh & our 3rd year quarterback is still finding his groove like most 3rd year QBs do.

But.. there is indeed a reason to believe. That defense has been stellar all year and is continuing to improve. That defense is going to give us a real opportunity in the playoffs where the pressure is amplified. Those guys fly around and make bad things happen.

Will we ever have a situation again in our lifetimes where all three phases are legit at the same time? Probably not... But we don't need all three to be legit. We just need one to be stellar and the other two to be solid. We have a stellar defense, and an offense and special team that can both be considered solid. That type of chemistry wins Super Bowls. It does folks.

LOL ok bud how many years till Dak finds his groove???
Dak is a walking Liability and will cost us big time as he has no business starting for any NFL team!
Luck has been with him the last games and trust me his Luck wont last forever unfortunately for us!
Another Dak excuse post man enough of the bs innuendos why Dak STINKS....it is what it is ....a Terrible QB !

100% behind this post.

In another thread I said I will not make another negative comment until after the playoffs are over.

When that is I do not know.

But until then I am going to be 100% supportive and eat my humble pie when served.

It ain't been served yet.

Because they are pissed the hell off. They screamed that without Romo but with Dak, Dallas was headed nowhere. Now that Dallas is headed to the playoffs AGAIN they are mad.
Are they Dallas fans? Yes, but they are far more concerned about who gets credit. And the fact that the guy that sent Romo into retirement has AGAIN led his team to a winning season (3/3) and the post season (2/3) they are literally besides themselves with anger.

They WANT to lose and if Dallas does not...they will ***** and whine and complain because at this point their sports' lives has been shattered by the success of Dak.

EDIT: And what REALLY pisses them off is that Dak will EARN a new contract after this season. They are the definition of butt-hurt.

You actually believe this crap? Dak having poor anticipation, showing no pocket presence, and frequently missing wide open WRs (or making them dive/leap for what should be easy passes) is the issue. We often win DESPITE him and how poorly he plays throughout many of these games. He frequently keeps the opponent in games. Without Zeke and the defense, those "Dak wins" wouldn't be there. It's clear to anyone who watches the games, and isn't wearing Dak-colored glasses, that Dak is not a good QB.

Secretly, I think maybe Aikman agrees with you.
