I have to wonder something. Does Jerry actually hate the Cowboys or just not care? I think he secretly hates the Cowboys. If he actually likes the Cowboys, I would think he'd at least show more interest. I feel like it wouldn't just be a get rich scheme to him. Now, you may say, "well Rusty, you're just sore. If we can see it, the opponents can. Only an owner that has actual disdain for his franchise would ignore this.

It's not about football, it's not a game or sport, it's a business. This is the most valuable, most profitable sports franchise in the world and that is quite literally the bottom line. True, he could make more money if this was a Championship team, but he weighs it by the risk/reward and ROI. No Jerry doesn't hate the cowboys. They are a part of his family and he loves the team............ too much. He should have put some space between himself and the football operations a long time ago, but he loves being involved and "doing the fun stuff". He truly believes that nobody could come to Dallas and do a better job than him , since he would have to approve all the moves anyway. That's how he thinks. He has no concept of himself being part of the problem and is oblivious to the problems he creates. I mean, who's going to tell him and risk their job?

As for SAS, he is a highly paid heal. You can't take anything he says seriously b/c he's an actor who pushes peoples buttons for a living.

Look, you know this is my favourite team. But I'm beyond frustrated. I just want to see us get beyond a divisional round for once in my fandom. I want to see the team look like they care. How do we get blown out twice in 2024 at home? And it looks exactly the same with our defence? Maybe I'll feel better later, and I've had a lot of personal stuff lately going on, but I'm absolutely fuming with the Cowboys after this last game.
