Does Jesse Holley have what it takes?

I haven't heard anything about his camp performance, has he done well enough to get himself a spot on the practice squad?

Jerry will make sure Holley makes the practice squad at least.

I still think they should have went with Hawkins and used him as a return guy and coverage guy but it is what it is.

Holley is the most similar to Irvin in that he has great size and strength for a WR but he lacks that top flight speed and unlike Irvin he can't use his body as well to overpower CBs.

Hawk would not have made this team fools. He fumbled as a return guy with the game on the line against losers. In training camp he would have looked worse than courtney brown. Holley wont make the team but dont fool yourselves hawk sucked.

Why do these threads (and questions on DMN) keep coming up? The guy is a scrub. If he makes the practice squad it would be due to everyone else the Cowboys attempt to put on the practice squad get claimed by other teams.

If Holley earns a spot on the PS over these next 3 games then he deserves it, if he doesn't then he won't. I think Jerry wants to win more than anyone and is not going to keep a guy because he was on a TV show, I think Jerry did not get where he is today by not being able to say no.

We have played 1 pre-season game out of 4 how does anyone know what Holley may or may not do? I think the odds are long for him but hell the odds that Bill Bates would make the team were just as long.

Just seeing him practice -- it looked very apparent he didn't belong there.
